Story
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Hi there, I'm Choco chip! I love my people and being held/petted. I'm a huge cuddler :) I came from living outside to being the best indoor pet ever, so I'd like to stay that way. I love to lay on top of my foster mom's cat tower and anywhere my humans are. My foster mom says I like to "give hugs and that I am the sweetest cat she's ever met! I live with other cats and dogs, so I am good with them. I haven't lived with kids but my foster parents think I would be good with them because all I really want is attention and pets, and I don't mind being handled :) My only bad habit is sometimes getting on the counter tops, which my foster mom is working on with me! I love love love food, so my family thinks I maybe wasn't fed routine meals given that I'm always on the lookout for something yummy to eat. I use my litterbox perfectly and make no mess- my foster family even has a litter robot that I've learned to use! If you think you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application :) ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Meet Ava!  Ava is a sweet girl who came to The Rescue Crew with her five babies.  She has been a busy mama, taking care of her little ones and teaching them good kitty manners.  Now that all her babies are weaned, she is ready to find her own home where she is the one who is being loved and pampered.  And boy does she deserve it! Ava is not high energy, although she does like to play.  She is box trained and gets along well with the resident cats in her foster home.  She is truly a sweet girl who would fit right in to almost any home! Story
Hi, I'm Noir! I am a playful little guy who came from a reservation when I was a few weeks old with my sister, Hughie. I was a little scared of people at first but I couldn't resist the urge to play so I learned that people are actually really fun! I also love to eat - no matter what my foster mom or the other animals in the house are eating - I want some! My love for food made it pretty easy for my mom to steal my heart since she's the one who feeds me :)  I'm a pretty typical kitten - I really like to play with toys, especially ones that are on a string or balls that I can chase! You can typically find me with a toy in my mouth. I think snuggles are alright, and when I'm tired I let my foster mom give me lots of pets. But - I would definitely rather be playing!  In addition to my brother, there's 3 other pets in my foster home. I really enjoy my sister and the other cats. I tolerate the dog, but prefer to keep my distance from her because she makes me a little nervous.  I would do well in almost any home. Even though I love my foster mom, I'm still a little shy around strangers. As long as they give me some space to start, I will observe them from a distance and then make my way over if they want to play with me! I'm all black with a little white on my belly, and am going to be a really stunning boy when I grow up. My mom loves how clean and soft I am! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
I need a temp foster from Oct 30-Nov 3. Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can help. Hi, my name is Gazebo. I am from Minnesota. From her foster: Are you looking for a reading buddy? Maybe a WFH su-purr-visor? Perhaps you need a stress relief pal that is soft and snuggly? Gazebo is your girl! She's adapted so quickly to a new environment, loves butt scratches and ear pets, and is great at letting you know she needs a break. She adores catnip (it makes her a toddler on a sugar high so she only gets it as a special treat) and loves to play with feather toys/tassles. She has been trying to befriend my resident cat to no avail. I think she would do well with a furry family member. She does shed (long haired) but does okay with being brushed. She's a pro at using her litter box. Loud unexpected noises scare her and she can be a bit skittish but recovers quickly. Gazebo is just a sweet girl looking for a human to treat her like the perfect little poofy pantaloon wearing kitty cat that she is! She would do well in a home with less activity. She was part of a hoarding case so could do well with another cat but unsure since our resident cat isn't friendly. While she might enjoy having another cat to play with, she is loving being an only cat and getting all the love and attention from her human companion. If you adopt her, she promises to make you smile and laugh every day with her silly behavior. Gazebo is still learning how to be a pet, but watching her learn is a joy. She still needs lots of "introvert time" under the bed, but each day, she spends a little more time playing and receiving pets and treats. While she is still figuring out "lap," she likes to be close to me. Every night she lies beside me in the bed, and she likes to rest her paws on my leg or shoulders when we sit together on the couch. Earning her trust has been such a rewarding journey. After a difficult start in life, this cat deserves to be loved, spoiled, and given the best life a pet can have.
