Story
reaching out to find a new home for my cat, Nani, who is currently in the Traverse City area. Nani is a 4-year-old rescue who thrives in a quiet environment. She tends to be scared of her surroundings and does best in homes with low-energy pets, as my other cat's high energy has been causing her significant stress. Due to the aggressive behavior I have seen between Nani and my other cat, for their own safety Nani will need a new home. Nani is affectionate and has so much love to give, but she needs someone who can be patient with her as she adjusts. She recently received all her vaccines and shots in September, so she’s in good health. If you’re interested in providing Nani with a safe and loving home or if you need more information, please reach out to me. Thank you for considering giving Nani the second chance she deserves!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
dob 6/27/24 Cheddar and his siblings were found behind the Burrow restaurant in Traverse City. In their TC Paw foster home, Cheddar is a snuggly kitten who enjoys being picked up and petted. He was shy at first. Fast movements and being in large, open rooms still make him nervous, but with a little encouragement, he does great. He's a gorgeous cat with beautiful coloring; large, curious eyes; and really soft fur. He likes his wet food. Lying in his hammock is Cheddar's favorite thing to do. His foster family says he is "incredibly sweet" and will make a wonderful pet. Cheddar's sibling is Olive. Check her page too. If you are interested in adopting this TC Paw cat or would like to set up a meet-and-greet, please complete the  Pre-adoption Application .   November 15, 2024, 10:14 pm

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
dob 7/13/24 A good Samaritan called TC Paw to report that she saw kittens playing in the road and was afraid for them. One of our dedicated volunteers went to the area and retrieved three darling kittens who appeared to be only two months old. We think they were born outside and hadn't lived in a home. In their TC Paw foster home, Twix was shy and cautious, but every day he becomes more trusting, relaxed and playful. If you approach him slowly, you can pet him, and if you scratch his head and ears, you'll get his happy purr before long. He likes to have lots of toys that move that he can chase and play with. He likes to climb and scratch on a tall cat tree or scratching post. Twix's long white coat will need regular brushing to keep it gorgeous and healthy. He gets along with dogs and other cats. Loud noises and sudden movements scare Twix and make him hide, so a home with older kids would be better. He'll need a slow introduction to his new home and lots of attention while he's young. Twix and his littermate Snickers are a bonded pair, and we feel they should stay together. Please check Snickers' page too, as well as the other littermate Kit Kat.  If you are interested in adopting this TC Paw cat or would like to set up a meet-and-greet, please complete the  Pre-adoption Application .   November 14, 2024, 3:12 pm
