Story
Smokey was given to me after she was found as a very young kitten at a campground where a small litter of 4 was found. She had already been in a home before she was rehomed to me at 2 months old and the place before had glued adult nail caps on her, we were able to take them off, but unfortunately she was never able to fully understand how to use her claws, and is sensitive about her feet. She is a big fluffy cuddler who loves to chirp and speak with you, and give you endless kisses. She loves a fluffy blanket and to make biscuits.

Story
Meet Winifred, a young feline with a heart full of love. Despite her shy demeanor, she's incredibly sweet and friendly. Her gentle nature is soothing, making her the perfect companion for quiet nights in. Winifred is FIV+, which means she has a weakened immune system. Winifred will need someone to keep up with her yearly vet checkups to make sure any concerns are caught early. Research shows that FIV cats may have a similar life expectancy to uninfected cats. Winifred doesn't let FIV+ slow her down, she is happy and healthy even with FIV+. She's a purr machine, her loud, clear purrs can turn any bad day around. Winifred thrives in the company of other cats, her gentle nature allowing her to get along well with others. Other cats make her feel more confident and secure. Winifred will need a home with another kitty friend. Her sisters Sarah and Mary are available if you have room in your home and heart for two. With her fluffy, soft coat, she's a joy to cuddle with. Winifred's gorgeous spirit shines through in everything she does. She should be adopted because she has so much love to give. She just needs someone to give a shy cat a chance. Her quiet, gentle nature would make her the perfect addition to any family willing to give her the love and patience she deserves. Winifred is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. Story
Meet Hexxus, a kitten with a heart full of sweetness and a spirit brimming with curiosity. He may be shy at first, but once he warms up, he's the epitome of friendliness. His purrs are quick to come, especially when treats are involved. He has the softest and fluffiest fur! Hexxus thrives in a calm environment and would greatly benefit from a confident companion who can help him navigate his shyness. Kids might overwhelm him, so a home without little ones would be ideal. His gentle nature and curious demeanor make him a wonderful companion. In his current foster home he has shown interest in his dog foster friend. Adopt Hexxus and let his sweet, friendly, and curious nature brighten your life. Hexxus is currently in a foster home. Story
Meet Batty, a kitten with a personality as quirky as her name. Sweet, friendly, and fiercely independent! Batty's energetic and independent nature makes her a fascinating companion. She's a bit peculiar, but in the best way, always following her own agenda. Her curiosity knows no bounds, always on the prowl for a new adventure. Batty likes pets and purrs easily, but she isn't one to stop and ask for them. She will stop if she hears the treat bag shake! Batty's a big fan of treats. Batty is the purr-fect mix of playful and peculiar. This little lady may march to the beat of her own drum, but that's what makes her so special. Adopt Batty and let her bring her unique brand of joy into your life. Batty is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Story
Meet Mia, a truly stunning long-haired tortie with striking colors and gorgeous markings. This 3-year-old beauty is as loving and attention-seeking as they come, always ready to be your faithful companion. She even oversees her foster mom while she works from home, making sure everything runs smoothly. Mia is confident, cuddly, and loves being the center of attention. She’s easy-going and gets along with other cats but tends to be indifferent toward them, making her a great fit for a home with or without other feline companions. Surrendered by her previous owner due to time constraints, Mia is ready for a fresh start with someone who can give her the love and attention she deserves. Their loss is your gain—Mia is an absolute gem! If you’re looking for a beautiful, affectionate, and laid-back kitty to brighten your life, Mia is ready to join your family. Don’t miss out on this incredible girl! Mia is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
