Story
I got Minnie from a friends house kitten batch. I am moving to low income housing and I can not take the 2 cats with me. She is not one that likes other cats (at least her litter mate) and would work well being an only cat. Once she is use to you Minnie is very loveable and can be the Kittie you have always wanted. She is very shy but will warm up to you in no time. she is about 6.5 years old and had shots when being fixed. I do not know how well Minnie would work with other cats as the one cat I am also re homing is her brother and she fights with him. She had her shots when she was fixed as a kitten and is an inside cat I do not know how well she travels as she has not been anywhere since coming home from vet getting fixed. Please choose Minnie!

Story
Long hair handsome man looking for a forever home. Sam is 15-20 years old and just needs someone to sit with him. He is the best boy and has been moved around a few times due to no fault of his own. He does not love cats that are smaller than him, but does well with bigger “gentle giant” cats. I am told he does well with dogs as long as they aren’t all over him all the time. Does just fine with kids. I think his ideal home would be with an older owner with no pets or lazy pets. He has been around our family a long time, but is being fostered at the moment and potential owners will have to answer some quick questions to ensure he is going to a good home. For care: He eats dry and wet food. He was malnourished, so he has been getting wet food in the morning and evening. He will let you know if you miss a meal. He needs medicine to help his thyroid 1-2 times a day, just crushed up on his wet food. Very easy! He sometimes needs help with cleaning ears and some

Story
Not So Common is a handsome, loving, and playful teenage kitten. He was found huddling in fear near businesses in Jackson with his sister, 55151 A Little Common. Many people posted for help for him and his sister, and Saved by Zade didn’t hesitate to take them in. When he and his sibling were found by a SBZ volunteer, they were found eating potato chips to survive. He was very sick and malnourished when he came to the rescue, but he knew he was safe and loved. His loving playful personality didn’t take long to come out. He is a happy go lucky boy who would thrive in any household. He would love another kitty to cuddle with and play with. His sister, A Little Common, has been his companion since being on the streets. They love sleeping together, grooming each other, and of course playing. They don’t have to be adopted together, but having another kitty who loves to be cuddle and play with will make his life so full. He is obsessed with wet cat food! Just pop a top and he’s chatting and begging for his meal. He loves playing with wand toys, especially ones with feathers on the ends. If you work from home, don’t plan on getting much done. He wants to be near you and play with your computer screen as you move your mouse! He has been exposed to a small dog in his foster home and seems to do well with doggies. To recap, he is a dream kitty! His docile nature and gorgeous long black and white coat make him a diamond in the rough! 🐾 WELCOME HOME! 🐾 Bringing Your New Kitty Home: What to Expect Thank you for adopting and giving this kitty a second chance! Here’s what you need to know for a smooth transition: 🛏 Start Small Set your cat up in one quiet room with a litter box, food, water, and a hiding spot (like a covered bed or cardboard box). Let them explore slowly and on their terms. ⏳ Give Time Even the friendliest cats may be shy at first. Expect 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to settle in, and up to 3 months to fully adjust. Be patient—they're learning to trust! It’s normal for cats to hide for the first 24–72 hours. Adult cats, especially, may take even longer to feel safe. As long as they’re eating, drinking, and using the litter box, hiding is okay! 🍽 Feed & Hydrate Keep food and water dishes in a quiet, accessible spot. Follow any diet info provided. Monitor eating, drinking, and litter box habits the first few days. 🚽 Litter Box Basics Show them where the box is right away. Keep it clean and use unscented, clumping litter unless otherwise noted. 🐱 Interactions Let your cat come to you. Avoid loud noises or too much handling early on. Use gentle voices and slow blinks to build trust. 🐕 Introducing to Other Pets? Slow and steady wins the race! Keep your new kitty separated at first and take your time with introductions. 🧸 Playtime & Enrichment Interactive toys, scratching posts, and window views help relieve stress and build confidence. Story
Meet Raggedy Ann! This sweet girl came to SbZ emaciated (body score 1/9), FIV+, tail so matted with poop it couldn’t be found at first, severe eye injury, and a raging skin infection, from an animal control shelter a few counties north. But look at her now! All beautiful, be it a little raggedy, calico fluffy loveliness! 🌟 Despite what she’s been through, Raggedy Ann is the sweetest thing. If you talk to her, she makes biscuits and looks like she’s tap dancing! With her little one-eyed pirate look (she’s missing a bit of an ear too), makes you just want to wrap her up in a blanket and snuggle her. If you did want to do that, you’d need some of those squeezable treats, like Churus, to convince her to stay on your lap. She doesn’t mind being picked up but she’s still working on hanging out in a lap. 😻 Raggedy Ann is looking for a quiet home where she can continue to build her confidence, with patient people who will let her adjust at her own pace. She loves other cats so it’d be great if you have a feline friend for her. 🐾 She also really likes her water fountain, chasing her cat dancer toy, eating treats right out of your hand, and being brushed. 🐈‍⬛ So, who is ready to bring home this little pint-sized pirate wrapped in gorgeous calico floof? 🏡 Email adoptions@savedbyzade.com today! 📧
