Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $175 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $250, and dogs over the age of 10 are $85. Adult cat adoption fees are $50, kittens under one year are $120, and cats over the age of 10 are $35.
