Story
I got Sassafras from the Lowell Humane Society back in 2023. She is just over 4 years old. Her birthday is September 13, 2020. I would love to see her go to a quiet home as she is a loner and tends to get tired of company quickly. When I got her, I was single and the only person in the house. We developed a nice bond. She is loving to me and purrs a lot when we sit quietly together. She can be playful at times... little toy on a stick, a little fluffy ball or even just a shoe lace and she'll have fun. She is also very tough with everyone else including pets. She will move close to a person and rub up against their leg but then quickly will hiss and sometimes she will slap at the person's foot with no claws. She runs from other pets. I've never seen her with another cat but now that my girlfriend has moved in with me, Sassafras won't go near her 2 dogs. Sassafras now lives in two rooms in the basement and the dogs aren't allowed down there. I want her to be happy in a nice quiet home.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Apply for cats at www.carmah.org All cats are first come first serve; sorry, we cannot reserve cats.  I'm Willow, a beautiful and sweet girl kitty. I may act shy, but I'm really very affectionate and lean in to your hand when you pet me. I like to eat, but sometimes you have to prompt me. I have a little wobble in my walk. The vet says it's neurological. It is not painful, will not get worse, and I should have a normal lifespan.  Duke and I are a bonded pair and would like to be adopted together. If you are looking for a third cat, Aspen would complete the trio nicely! I am 2.5 years old and in great health. Got room for a kitty who walks a little funny and has a heart of gold?  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Kittens under six months must have a cat buddy. Adoption fees are $325 for kittens under a year, $600 per pair $250 for cats 1-11 years, $175 for cats 12+ years ----------  Carmah is an all volunteer, no-kill cat rescue group serving the Marlborough/Hudson MA area and beyond. ---------- November 17, 2024, 10:49 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Apply for cats at www.carmah.org All cats are first come first serve; sorry, we cannot reserve cats.  I'm Raven, a sweet girl who enjoys snuggling. I have a gentle spirit and a love for companionship. I love other cats and am comfortable around calm dogs. Once I feel at home, I become an affectionate, snuggly companion who loves to rub against my humans, purr contentedly, and flop down for belly rubs. My favorite pastime? Curling up in your lap to knead biscuits and enjoy some cuddles. I would do best with at least one friendly welcoming cat in my new home. I can be a little skittish with fast movements, so I'll ask you to approach me slowly. I'll be comfortable enough that you can pick me up and I'll sit in your lap for a while! I am 7 months old and in great health. Looking for a snuggle-puss like me? Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
