MEET ATTICUS - Watch His Videos!*Needs a kitty friend!Atticus is a gorgeous sensitive soul who has won the hearts of the feline ladies in our Colony room (as well as volunteers and staff). He was left behind when his former owners moved away and it has taken him some time to get over that abandonment. We think a confident affectionate cat in his new home will help him to settle in. Atticus continues to make progress and has lately been enjoying pets, brushing and snacks with the volunteers he knows best. Please come to Dedham to learn more about this special, beloved guy! Atticus is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Atticus or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Story
Tina is a sweet, gentle and curious black cat -- and a bit goofy. She loves to hang out with the family and loves kids. She will occassionally cuddle on your lap but also likes to spend her time exploring. She has a big personality and although she loves time with her humans, Tina has started to struggle with behavior around other animals. After a cross country move she has developed anxiety toward her cat housemates that resulted in them being put into separate spaces and limits their freedom and interaction. Despite our love for her, we think Tina would thrive in a home where she can get as much attention from her owners as she deserves. While she has a relaxed demeanor her anxiety around other pets makes it challenging for her to coexist with other animals so we would not be willing to rehome her to a house with another pet. We have no timeline and are looking a great match where she can run around the house with a laser pointer and get zoomies and also lounge about snoozing.

SEBASTIAN AND JEREMY! A BONDED PAIRTwo`s a charm with these adorable boys. Sebastian is the more outgoing of the pair and really helps Jeremy find his playful side. They sleep and cuddle together and can even be seen giving each other baths. A quieter home, perhaps with older respectful children might be the best fit for this duo as Jeremy is quite noise-sensitive.Sebastian and Jeremy are currently up to date on all vaccinations, have been neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Sebastian and Jeremy or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Story
MISTY!Sweet and gentle Misty is looking for a quiet, adult-only home (perhaps with only one person) since that is what she has known. Misty chills and does her own thing in her bed and as soon as someone says hello, she sends her beautiful, fluffy tail into the air, purrs and `makes biscuits.` Where pets are concerned, Misty turns to `head butt mode` asking for more if you slow down! If you`d like to give Misty a nice couch to curl up on this coming winter where she can share your space for some tv time, come meet her today!Misty is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Misty or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Story
I was going to become homeless. A kind woman took me in. Her cats, however, did not want to share their space with me. She tried to make it work for all of us. But her cats just would not accept me. She wanted me to be safe and happy in my own home, sadly she brought me to the shelter. I am sweet. I spend time kneading my bed to feel less stressed. As soon as one comes to my cage door, I am up and rubbing against my cage door. I just want attention. I need to be the ONLY pet in the home. If you are looking for a gentle companion, come to meet me. I am 12 years old, young at heart and a good buddy. For information about me and/or the adoption process email ds4paws@hotmail.com or call Rob at the shelter 508 822 1463. I have a senior adoption fee. An approved adoption application is required to bring me home.
