MEET ACE!Hold the phone, Ace was deemed to be aloof in his last living situation? Well, that is NOT the cat we have gotten to know. This distinguished gentleman is always up for a visit and has become a staff/voluteer favorite. Ace has a sweet, yet curious nature and we think he could be a great addition to most homes. Ace did live with another cat but we`re not sure if he`d like to do that again. Being an older guy, Ace does have some medical issues so, it would be great if his new person has a great relationship with a vet so he can be monitored. Come speak to an adoption specialist in Boston to meet Ace!Ace is currently up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick preventative, has been neutered, microchipped, and examined by our vet team. For more information on Ace or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170 x604. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Not good with kids, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We call her Shoe, like the old woman who lived in one and had too many kids, because apparently she was allowed to breed indiscriminately for 10 years (at least) and was living on an open porch before I took her and 4 kits in. She is spayed now, of course, but she's partially deaf from horrifying ear infections that I cleaned up and have since resolved. She's much calmer after having been spayed and is looking for a quiet home where she can relax and find love. She really does want to be friendly, and she sleeps on a corner of my bed when my other cat is not around.

MEET LOLITA!Lolita is a big bodacious beauty! She was very unhappy when she arrived at the shelter, but we discovered that some serious mats were causing her pain. Those matts have since been removed and she is feeling a lot better! Lolita doesn`t like other cats and little kids make her nervous, so a home with cat savvy older kids and no other pets would suit her. She can be nippy and swatty during play or when she is done being petted. If your home would suit her, and you`re willing to groom her on a regular basis to prevent mats, come to Dedham to meet Lolita!Lolita is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. MEET OPAL - Wants to be your only cat!Opal was surrendered to us because she was not a fan of the other cat in the home. Outgoing and sweet to us humans, Opal has taken no time at all to strut her stuff in our Adoption Center. She is a gorgeous kitty, and her photo truly does not capture her beautiful long fur. Speaking of which, because she has some serious floof, Opal`s adopter should be prepared to spend time brushing her, to help keep her fur at its lustrous best. In her short time here, Opal has shown us that she`s perky, playful and affectionate. In short, she`s purrfect! We are reccomending that she be the only cat in a home.Opal is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Opal or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. MEET ATTICUS! Watch His Video!Atticus is a gorgeous sensitive soul who has won the hearts of the feline ladies in our Colony room (as well as volunteers and staff). Please come to Dedham to learn more about this special guy! Atticus is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Atticus or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170.
