Story
Pooh is a handsome tuxedo boy with a white stripe down his face, a white mustache, and a pink nose. This 7 1/2 year old boy came to HART last summer along with his friend, Puffy. Pooh has worked with the Socialization Team to help him adjust to shelter life. He recently left a private condo, where he was quite eager to play with toys and has now begun to greet visitors. He is more social than his lady friend Puffy.Pooh and Puffy are truly bonded and must be adopted together. They would both apprreciate a quiet home where they both could flourish. If you're looking for a lovable pair of cats and would like to meet these besties in Room 4, please complete an online adoption application.Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today!***FKA = Formerly Known As

Meet Cinnamon – A Sweet & Gentle Soul Cinnamon is a shy but oh-so-sweet older lady looking for a peaceful, indoor-only home where she can truly relax and be loved. This gentle sweetheart has been through a lot and needs a quiet, patient family who will give her all the time she needs to settle in.She would prefer to be your one and only—no kids or other animals, just a calm space where she can soak up the warmth and comfort she deserves. Cinnamon adores thick, plush blankets to curl up on, loves batting around ball and mouse toys, scratching on her favorite posts, and lounging in a tall cat tree. She’ll also need regular brushing to keep her beautiful coat soft and tangle-free.If you have a soft spot for a senior sweetheart and can offer Cinnamon the peaceful, loving home she dreams of, she’s more than ready to fill your days with warmth and quiet companionship. Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats,
Story
Wonder is the handsomest, long hair kitty ever! He is approximately 7-8 months old. His pictures do not do him justice. This boy literally came from the streets of Mexico, pathetic looking and starving to death. You couldn’t tell with his long hair, but he was skin and bones, and his face sunken, hair dirty and dry. He wasn’t going to survive another few days on those streets. Thankfully, someone who cared saw him, scooped him up, and reached out to us for help. Wonder is the most chill cat (he’s very much like Missy, another cat we have available for adoption!). He gets along great with other cats and doesn’t have any issues – he’s currently fostered with other cats. He can be timid around hyper/energetic dogs but is fine with calm, relaxed ones. Wonder loves to be held. You can squeeze him, carry him like a baby, and/or rock him and he just sits there in your arms like it’s the best place on earth. He shares his food bowl with other cats and doesn’t blink twice. Wonder gets along with everyone and everything. He would be great with children of all ages. He’s obsessed with any toys you give him. He will play with them until he’s ready to zonk out or you cuddle him. Wonder is litter box trained. Any potential adopter will need to invest in a good brush for his long hair. The foster has no bad things to say about this bestest boy. He will fit into all lifestyles of home from quiet to more active and in between. Wonder is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, preventions and will receive a health certificate from a veterinarian giving him a clean bill of health prior to arrival. Story
My name is pookie, and I am told that i'm a pretty classy posh, little girl with some pretty fabulous, long fur and gorgeous coloring.  You see, I am a 7-year-old kind of teenage girl who is looking to find a pretty ritzy new home and owners, who are going to appreciate my snazzy looks. Just think what the neighbors will say with me lounging everyday and sunning myself in your window. I also love to play and make you smile. Not good with dogs,
Story
Jack is a very handsome and charming 14-1/2-year-old boy who has quickly become a volunteer favorite. He was surrendered to HART since his previous owner could not offer the care he needed. Jack started out at HART very confused and defensive. After being here after about a week or two, he really started to trust the new people in his life. He has an independent and courageous spirit that will surely win you over. He enjoys being petted, brushed and held and will start purring almost immediately. He loves being spoiled the most.Or medical team found that he has some joint issues in his legs and he is on a medication now to help him with any pain he might be experiencing. To help him continue and monitor this treatment and care we require that his new home have an established vet before adopting him. He's also eating a diet to help him with kidney care. We think you'll fall in love with this wonderful kitty like we have. Please come meet him in Room 4 at the shelter.Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today!***FKA = Formerly Known As
