Story
Reagan is best described as independent. He does not liked to be touched or approached. You may be able to look at him without upsetting him, however. He would do best in a home with someone who wants a cat, but doesn't want to see it or interact with it. He does require food, water and a clean litter box though. So he's a lot like a 15 year-old.

Story
I call her Queen Kat cause she's so sophisticated and has always been 🥹💚. I've had her since 2013. Shes helped me through numerous life changing events and I'm forever grateful for being blessed with my furry friend. Unfortunately I've began dating someone with 4 dogs who we thought we could integrate them but it's hard to pull off as we're also new parents. I don't want her spending the rest of her days couped up in a room and I'm just always afraid she'll get out and become a chew toy for the pups so I want her living comfortably in luxury with someone who can shower her chatty kat butt with attention and affection. She deserves to lounge by a window and soak up the sun. That's her favorite! I found her in my old neighborhood but she's been with me for almost 11 years. She's loving, chatty, and sweet and just deserves better than what I have to give. If anyone sees her and thinks she's the one for you, please reach out to me and hopefully we can give her the rest of a good life.

ENERGY LEVEL: MediumPERSONALITY/PHYSICAL TRAITS: Fluffy, Sweet, Purr-BoxHello everyone, meet Izzy! This petite ball of fluff could be the one for you! Izzy is not only stunningly beautiful, she is an incredibly sweet and cuddly kitty too. As soon as she gets any attention she starts to purr. When she isn't soaking up your attention, she is most likely found in a sunny spot soaking up the rays. At this point, we have not seen Izzy around other animals but her chill personality makes us think she could at least give it a try. Could Izzy be the purrfect fit for your family? Give us a call at our Adoption Center at 859-873-5491 to find out more about her or to schedule an appointment to meet her! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gideon is a very talkative and social fella.  He loves his wet food dinners and hanging out in your lap.  Gideon has done great on first meeting with all most all cats and dogs.  He didn’t seem to like a couple of foster kittens rubbing all over him they got hissed at but no other reaction to others, he greets them with a sniff on the noise.  He can be very chatty when he’s wanting a snack. He was said to have come in the shelter as a stray, but he is too well mannered a boy to have been a stray.  Definitely comfortable being in a home and around other animals.   Gideon came to us in poor condition, rough oily coat and under weight could feel his back bone.  We did bloodwork and discovered he was diabetic.  Our vet said he was a good candidate for Bexacat the daily pill.  We also have him on a lower carbohydrate food.  He gets a can of pate twice a day, on top of bis breakfast i put his pill and watch to ensure he eats it. He also has dry food available to snack on as needed throughout the day.  He has done well on it and agreed by vet he is ready for adoption.  He has gained weight and his coat is coming in beautifully. His adopted family should be familiar with the diabetes symptoms and what to look for as warning signs in need of veterinary visits/treatment.  Would also be beneficial if comfortable with being able to check ketones and blood sugar at home.  Bexacat currently costs about $100 per month, and should plan on $80-$100 food expense as well.  Need also be prepared to have some vet expenses to ensure monitoring his health. Estimated DOB:   10/15/2014 Adoption fee: $90.00 (6% KY sales tax included)  We would love to hear from you!
