Story
.Meet our handsome man Fritter! This sweet man came in to us as a stray, so we didn't know much about him. He came in shaved but wounded, so he was owned or at least someone had cared for him. He is a super sweet guy that doesn't mind other cats and doesn't mind dogs either! He loves attention and would like to request that you have a lap available for him come nap time! Fritter is up to date on his vaccinations and is neutered. If you are interested in Fritter, please submit an adoption application, which can be found on our website: humanesocietyofnwia.com.

Story
***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** You would be hard pressed to find a nicer, neater, sweeter cat than big ol Mace!  Rescued in a neighboring town, his good Samaritan knew he needed some medical attention so he was brought into the shelter.  Some antibiotics and good snacks was all he needed to heal up and show us that he wasn't meant for the streets in the first place so this big guy got to stay!  Now he's looking for a forever home that will never lead him to have to fend for himself in the out of doors all alone.  Mace is a sturdy cat with medium length fur that will require some occasional brushing to help keep him looking dapper.  We estimate he was likely born in 2017.  He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative and microchipped. As always our cat/kitten adoptions are free will to approved applicants. October 24, 2024, 7:04 pm

Story
***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***  Lionel came to us horribly matted. He needed a lion cut and a name, and so he received both.    Lionel is still regrowing his fur, but we were able to save his mane and tail.  He was probably a pet before his time on the streets.    He    hasn’t had a mat since returning to indoor living. Lionel loves treats. In fact, he takes well to bribery and loves food a little too much in general. Lionel likes pets and rubbing against a human’s legs, but he’s wary of grabbing hands. He’s clearly been bitten at least once and consequently taken the twice shy part to heart. Lionel likes toys that allow playing from a distance - wands and teasers. Once he was able to relax in one of our community rooms, he struck up a friendship with Woody, another big guy who likes food too much. The two of them can often be found wrestling or grooming each other.  Lionel  is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****  October 24, 2024, 7:04 pm
