My name is Churro and I am a brown tabby domestic longhair. I am a spayed female and I am 10 months old. I am at the shelter because I was found as a stray on 12/07/2024. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a medium energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I can be good with children, women, and men. I can be good with other cats, and we are not sure how I do with dogs.All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.

Sergi is a 2-year-old, long-haired male cat who arrived at the shelter with other feline companions. He’s a bit shy and doesn’t tolerate sudden movements well, so a home without dogs or children is recommended. Sergi may require some time to adapt to his new environment, and he has a folded ear due to past trauma.” Thank you for your interest in providing a forever home for an animal who needs your love! Adult cats are $50, this includes spay or neuter, rabies shot (if over 4 months), FVRCP (distemper), worming, flea treatment, FIV/FeLV testing, and microchip( lifetime, No fees). Kittens (6 months and under) are $70 or 2 for $100. If the cat is at the rescue, email happytalesiowa@gmail.com to set up an appointment.
