Story
These are not “cuddlers”. These are young adults that came to us from Indy Neighborhood Cats when they were kittens. They were born feral and we have been working on socialization for months. They do NOT like to be picked up, and barely allow us to pet them. But they LOVE playtime with tunnels and cat trees. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO CONTINUE SOCIALIZATION. Azalea is a sweet girl who will only let you pet her on her terms. Larkspur will not let you move him, pick him up, or do anything to him, except pet him sometimes. He was the spiciest kitten when he came to us and hasn't changed much. He does not trust human hands. He needs a covered litter box with no door or he'll overshoot the sides of the litter box. WE WILL ONLY ADOPT THEM AS A BONDED PAIR. Azalea & Larkspur are TRUE long-haired and will play to the point of overheating themselves, and then panting. These cats have not been around dogs or small children. We insist on a cat-only household with children over 12. Azalea & Larkspur are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped. Approximate date of birth is August 21, 2022. Adoption fee = $75 per cat ($150 total) To adopt, please contact us at centralinfostercats@gmail.com.
We'll also keep you updated on Larkspur's adoption status with email updates.

Story
**Meet Luke; The Sweetest Cat Looking for His Forever Home** HIS journey started at a gas station in Greenwood, but from day one, he's shown he knows how to be the perfect housemate. He always buries his waste neatly, never scratches or bites, and loves interacting with people. Luke enjoys cuddles and makes you feel special with his gentle affection. He's about two years old, playful, curious, and eats well. Luke is in good health. Bringing Luke home has unfortunately stressed one of our resident cats, leading to health issues. As much as we love him, we feel Luke would be happiest in a home where he can be the center of attention. If you're looking for a sweet, low-maintenance companion, Luke is ready to bring love and joy to your life. Please reach out to us :)

Good with cats,
Story
Mr. Bond was named after his big golden eyes. He was born on 3/10/2022. He is a sweet, gorgeous boy who loves to play with the kitty fishing rods, and will sometimes play at chasing a laser. He gets along with other cats, but he is incredibly shy, and sometimes scared. He does not like sharing the litter boxes, so he'd probably fit better in a home with none, or one other cat max. He has not been neutered or chipped. Mr. Bond has only ever interacted with grown-up humans. He doesn't seem to like cuddles, pets, or being held/carried. He will only let people pet him every now and then. He loves treats, ALL the treats, and takes them so gently. He deserves to be in a loving home with someone that will spoil him, be patient, and let him come on his own terms.

Story
BeauI`m closing in on my one-year anniversary with the HSHC! I was picked up in Carmel as a stray kitty on Halloween 2023. I was given a complete check-up, my live fleas were treated, and I was neutered, but I was not a happy camper! I went to live in a foster home to learn to trust people and relax. I have had three foster homes since arriving, which has made all the difference in my personality and confidence. I used to be such a scaredy cat and would freeze whenever I was startled. But according to my current foster mom, I have come out of my shell! My favorite things include food and treats, snuggling at night, and immediately upon waking up in the morning, making biscuits and being my foster mom`s shadow. I like to be right near her. I am also a talker and singer of meows. Now, I still do not like cats! But I have gotten along swimmingly with the 8-year-old female pitbull mix in the home. We lay near each other, touch our noses, and never fight. I am a sweet-natured cat who adores being close to my humans, whether it`s sleeping, cuddling, or just being in the same room. As I approach my 7th year, I`m more than ready to find my forever home. I must be the only feline in the house, but I promise to shower my humans with all the love and affection I have to give. I am fully prepared and excited to be adopted, so alert the potential adopters! 10-22-24
