Story
Meet Junipurr! She and her brother, Jaspurr, were part of the group of cats who were rescued during the KSR trapping efforts (as KSR is closing down). She was rescued right after the temperatures dropped below freezing, and it's a miracle this young lady survived! She was covered in so many burs and brambles her fosters had to shave her coat as there was no combining the hitchhikers out (there were hundreds). Two baths and a few days in a safe, warm foster home and Junipurr decided people = good things. She is still a little shy with quick movements, loud noises, etc. but she has taken to the Plush Life like a princess! She is growing boldly social each day, coming to greet her fosters in the morning and playing with enthusiasm and ease. While she hasn't figured out cuddling yet, she is a very promising student, and is highly food motivated. Her favorite snack is the Churu (flavor doesn't matter!) and it helps her overcome most hesitancies she may have! Her beautiful silver coat, precious amber eyes, and willing purr make her not only a beauty to admire, but a sweet kitty with a darling disposition. Junipurr has been raised in a foster home with other cats, and must have a Forever Family with another feline. She has not meet any kiddos, nor has she interacted with dogs (although she could adapt with a patient, loving touch). She is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV (yay!). Submit your application today!

Story
August is a breathtaking long-haired white boy with striking blue eyes and a tender, sensitive soul. Life hasn’t always been easy for him, which is why he takes a little time to feel safe. When he first arrived in foster care, he spent about a week hiding — just watching and learning that he could finally relax. But once he realized he was safe, he blossomed into a total sweetheart. Now, August loves curling up in laps, leaning into gentle pets, and staying close to his people. He forms deep bonds and shows his affection with loud, expressive meows — he’s quite the talker and isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts! August shares an unbreakable bond with his brother, Archer. The two were found outside an apartment building, crying and trying to get back inside after being left behind. A kind family brought them in to keep them safe, but their small home couldn’t comfortably accommodate two growing cats. Now, August and Archer are looking for a forever home where they’ll never be left behind again. They cuddle constantly, play together, and help each other feel brave. Because of this special connection, they must be adopted as a pair. They tend to be more active in the evenings and enjoy spending quiet daytime hours tucked into cozy hiding spots or snuggled up together. With patience, love, and a calm home, August will reward you with deep loyalty, sweet lap cuddles, and plenty of heartfelt conversations.
