Story
Mari may be the sweetest kitty I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Our family loves her to pieces and we are very heart broken that we can no longer keep her in our care. Our family adopted Mari and few months ago and she was said to be a little under a year old. We introduced her to our other cat and our dog and she got along well with both! Unfortunately only a few weeks later she became very very sick with a terrible upper respiratory infection. After multiple vet visits we learned she had Feline Leukemia and likely has had it since she was born. Due to the nature of the disease we cannot keep her in our home with our other cat. Cats with Feline Leukemia should live without other cats but can safely live with dogs! Cats can live long happy lives with this disease so long as they are given a good diet, live in a clean space, and visit the vet twice a year for a check in! We would love to keep in contact with her new owners to check on her health if they are up for it!

Story
These are not “cuddlers”. These are young adults that came to us from Indy Neighborhood Cats when they were kittens. They were born feral and we have been working on socialization for months. They do NOT like to be picked up, and barely allow us to pet them. But they LOVE playtime with tunnels and cat trees. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO CONTINUE SOCIALIZATION. Azalea is a sweet girl who will only let you pet her on her terms. Larkspur will not let you move him, pick him up, or do anything to him, except pet him sometimes. He was the spiciest kitten when he came to us and hasn't changed much. He does not trust human hands. He needs a covered litter box with no door or he'll overshoot the sides of the litter box. WE WILL ONLY ADOPT THEM AS A BONDED PAIR. Azalea & Larkspur are TRUE long-haired and will play to the point of overheating themselves, and then panting. These cats have not been around dogs or small children. We insist on a cat-only household with children over 12. Azalea & Larkspur are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped. Approximate date of birth is August 21, 2022. Adoption fee = $75 per cat ($150 total) To adopt, please contact us at centralinfostercats@gmail.com.
