Story
Acorn is a gorgeous medium-haired black female. She is very playful and loves wand toys. She's very skittish and needs a patient home who can take the time to earn her trust. Once she gets to know you, she enjoys gentle pets. Acorn would prefer other cats that are mellow and gentle. She was also good with the small, older dogs at her foster home. Acorn is not litterbox trained.

Story
This gorgeous girl is Camila or Cami for short! Camila was surrendered to us after her owners were faced with health issues beyond their control. She was well loved and very spoiled, and we're hoping to find her a new home that will do the same! She is around 4 years old and a large cat, weighing around 12lbs. She is understandably very stressed and upset at the shelter. She will occasionally rub against you, but currently does not allow petting. We believe with time and patience in a quiet environment away from cats she will start to return to the loving cat she is at heart. She will need a patient home that can give her ample time and space to adjust. Camila lived as an only pet in her previous home and is looking for a home with no children.Camila is front paw declawed. When she first came to WCHS, she experienced some discomfort in her front paws. Our vet did x-rays and observed nail fragments in her front paws. She received a pain injection and has been doing wonderfully since. Any interested adopter would want to keep this in mind to share with their vet in case any complications arise in the future!

Story
Zero is an elegant five-year-old domestic long hair that came to us from a local animal control. He is a bit more reserved but does enjoy pets and affection. He is often lounging in a comfy bed and watching his environment. Zero doesn't seem to mind the other cats so far and we have seen him playing with and grooming other cats.

Story
Meet Bell! Bell is a stunning long-haired tabico kitty with a heart full of love to share. This beautiful girl arrived in our care after being surrendered by her owner to animal control, and now she's ready to find her forever home. Bell may be a bit shy at first, but with a little patience, she blossoms into the most loving and affectionate companion. She adores rubbing against legs for attention and will nudge her way into your hand for gentle pets. Bell's gentle nature makes her an ideal match for a quiet and relaxed home where she can feel safe and cherished. While Bell would be perfectly content as the only cat in the household, she is also cat-friendly and can easily get along with other feline friends. We're not sure how she feels about dogs, so a dog-free home might be best until her true preferences are known. If you're looking for a sweet and gentle kitty to fill your home with love, Bell is the one for you. Come meet her and let her charm you with her affectionate ways! Are you ready to make Bell a part of your family? Story
Meet Shelby! Shelby is a sweet and social senior kitty, estimated to be 13 years old, who is ready to find her forever home. Recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, Shelby needs medication twice a day to keep her healthy. Hyperthyroidism in cats is a common condition where the thyroid gland produces too much thyroid hormone, which can be easily managed with regular medication. Shelby loves pets and is incredibly affectionate. She enjoys spending her days next to windows, soaking up the sunshine, and watching the world go by. Shelby is also a big fan of mealtime and will happily let you know when it's time to eat. With her friendly and loving personality, Shelby will make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a devoted feline friend. Come meet Shelby and let her brighten your days with her sweet presence! Has Shelby won you over?
