Sissy was adopted as a kitten and was very shy and reclusive often sleeping under the bed where she felt safe. She was part of a litter that something happened to the mother and the kittens were rescued. Once she feels safe she is very affectionate. She is very sweet and loves to climb onto your lap to be petted. Once she feels safe with you. She doesn’t do well with a lot of noise or commotion. She seems to do best with a one on one connection but doesn’t like to share with other cats.

Meet Marilyn! This incredibly sweet and affectionate adult kitty came to us from SCRAPS after her owner passed way. Her birthdate is 12/01/2018.  Surprise, surprise! Marilyn is another declawed cat who will have a more complex future due to the pain and insecurity issues surrounding the procedure. There ain't no way around the truth. While Marilyn is not malicious, she is very very affectionate and gets easily overstimulated during petting which leads to biting and swatting with clawless little mittens. She is fine with other cats and dogs too, but they are also gonna have to catch these hands. Marilyn would love a family with ample cat experience who doesn't mind giving her the space and ability to be herself. We are certain that someone who has the dedicated patience and understanding for this big guy and his overly cautious personality can gain his trust and love.
