Story
Slinky was adopted by a wonderful family, but due to a situation with their housing, he came back to Floyd Felines. He is back to his old way of slinking around the office and showing off his beauty. However, when he was adopted, he was adopted with one of our long term residents, Motor. While they were with their family, they were best of friends. Always playing together and sleeping and loving each other. It was requested we adopt them out as a pair. Motor is a great girl and they would make a wonderful 2 for one!Slinky came in as Feral from a neighboring shelter. It turned out that he is a very sweet loving cat. He loves to walk around showing off his amazing tail, like he is a peacock. He talks and loves pets. He gets along well with other cats. Come and meet this boy and show him what an indoor loving home is like. I am sure he is relieved we didn't send him to a barn to hunt when he would rather have a family who feeds him in a bowl. Come meet h I'm!!!

Story
Macy would need some patience as he has never been with anyone else. I’m having to rehome him due to landlord issues. He is a very sweet gentle cat and generally loves other animals given time. He’s very maternal. He does currently go in and out. But that would need to take some time at his new home. He’s not up to date on his shots but he’s in excellent health.

Caramel is a very sweet girl who loves to be cuddled. She is on the timid side when you first meet her but once she opens up to you, she's your best friend! She had an injury to her tail when she first came in and how has about half a tail. She is the sweetest cat and just needs to find her person willing to get her the safe space to open up.

Story
We took Ivy in from the Humane society back in January 2021. She is a very beautiful and loving cat. Unfortunately, following the birth of my son last year we feel she is no longer happy living with us. She has showed many signs of stress and despite several vet appointments and us trying to make her more comfortable we are at a loss. Im currently pregnant again and fear the new addition won't make her situation any better. It is with heavy hearts that we feel she may be happier elsewhere. We are hoping someone takes her in and loves her the way we have.

Story
LOOKING FOR MY ANGEL:  Approx. 4 years old  / Approx. 11.5 lbs. Hi, my name is Sharna!  I was adopted from Mostly Mutts a few years ago as part of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ themed litter.  Unfortunately, things did not work out, and I am back with Mostly Mutts and looking for a new, loving home.  Luckily, I am in a great foster home with a foster mom who understands my need for space and time to decompress and feel safe and comfortable.  I’ve made great progress and am beginning to trust people and seek out their attention.  Once I know you are my friend, I will surely build a great rapport with you as well!  • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  I’ve only observed the cat who lives in my foster home through a gate and hissed at him.  I was not interested in being friends with him, and my previous owner stated that I am anxious around other animals.  It would probably be best for my adjustment in my new home to be your only kitty. However, If you do have another cat, I would need a very slow introduction to him or her and my own space at first to feel safe and secure in your home. / Though my previous owner said I did okay with some dogs, my foster feels that the presence of a dog in their home may be keeping me anxious.  Best no dogs in my new home. / I’ve become receptive to the calm teens in my foster home spending time with me and petting me, but – since I am startled by loud noises and commotion, I should not live with younger children. • PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  My foster describes me as ‘a beautiful, affectionate cat who just needs a person willing to give me the time and space I need to feel safe’.  In fact, I spent several days under the bed, finally coming out to say hello. My foster came up with a great plan to help me socialize!  Instead of a large bed to hide under, I am in a room with a small table, draped with a sheet and a kitty bed underneath.  This made it much easier for her to interact with me. I am now coming out to say hello anytime someone comes in the room.  In fact, I love to be petted and to rub up against a friendly, calm person who loves spending time with me.  I don’t hiss or bite, and I will nudge you with my nose for extra pets once I get to know you. • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I had only one accident outside the litter box shortly after I arrived.  Otherwise,  I have kept my area clean in my foster home.    • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I DO like people once I know them.  I’ve become more and more comfortable with my foster mom and her teenage children – the more time they spend with me.  As my playful side slowly emerges, I’ve shown some interest in the feather wand.  I’ve grown confident enough to sit and watch the world outside from a window – progress! / I would not be happy if I were rushed to interact in an unfamiliar environment.  Please give me time and space to get to know you. I promise – if we take things slowly – I will feel safe and be a very loving and affectionate companion. Otherwise, I am sure I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, combo tested negative and spayed.   I am looking for a quiet, calm family that will give me the time to settle in to my new home – the kitty love I provide will be worth the wait!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.November 7, 2024, 4:18 pm
