Story
Alex is a very shy, sweet neutered male, approximately three years old. Alex was recovered from a hoarding situation in Macon, GA. He is quite small for his age and will be fully vetted/vaccinated prior to adoption. Alex has long hair and a fluffy tail that he has tried to maintain. His foster mom says he hid under the bed for the first few days, but now comes out for feeding and stroking if the environment is quiet. We will start on brushing soon! Alex needs lots of TLC. He's not aggressive, he just needs plenty of time to get acclimated. He is litterbox trained and ready to be welcomed into a loving home.

Maybe that could be you? If you're looking for a young, handsome kitty to play and cuddle with, he's your guy. Come in and see him today! Please read the animal bios completely before requesting additional information as we do our best to answer the most frequently ask questions in these bios. In order to adopt one of our animals an application must be submitted and approved. You can find these applications by going to http://humanemorgan.org/index.php?page=adoption ABOUT ADOPTING FROM THE HSMC: The shelter address is 1170 Fairground Rd. Madison, GA 30650. For more information on any of our pets, please feel free to email us at INFO@HUMANEMORGAN.ORG give us a call at 706-343-9977. All dogs are heartworm negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, and microchipped. All cats are FeLv/FIV negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, and microchipped. We are open 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday, we schedule our last adoption at 4pm everyday to allow our staff enough time to feed and walk dogs. We are an animal shelter and therefore are not able to individually potty train our residents. Many adult dogs do arrive “house broken” however due to animal behavior any change in environment will make an emotional impact on the animals and therefore initiate unwanted behaviors during the acclamation period. Please keep this in mind. Puppies do not have the biological maturity to maintain absolute bladder or bowel control and will require a certain degree of potty training and house breaking. Please consider the time and commitment it takes to provide the necessary building blocks for these special babies, prior to submitting your application. If you have any questions please email us at info@humanemorgan.org and provide name of the animal you are interested in, in the subject line. Thank you, HSMC Staff ADOPTION FEES Adoption Fees may change without notice.
