Story
My journey so far....my "Momma" was feral and led me and my litter mates onto a kind persons porch where she knew food and warmth waited for us. We were all taken inside and found ourselves welcomed into a much larger family of cats and dogs. Apparently all of them stray, abandoned, or injured. Most of the time I get along fine with the others but being a pseudo introvert I would prefer the majority of the attention. Unlike my name I'm really not so brave, but enjoy all the attention I can get. I tolerate the dogs and often times am found sleeping in their beds or brushing up against them. I just don't like being chased! I happen to be very sports minded and play "Temptation Catch" before bedtime every night. Worthy of a video if there was a way to share one. It might take some time for me to feel comfortable in new surroundings but I'd be willing if you are.

Story
LOOKING FOR MY ANGEL:  Approx. 4 years old  / Approx. 11.5 lbs. Hi, my name is Sharna!  I was adopted from Mostly Mutts a few years ago as part of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ themed litter.  Unfortunately, things did not work out, and I am back with Mostly Mutts and looking for a new, loving home.  Luckily, I am in a great foster home with a foster mom who understands my need for space and time to decompress and feel safe and comfortable.  I’ve made great progress and am beginning to trust people and seek out their attention.  Once I know you are my friend, I will surely build a great rapport with you as well!  • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  I’ve only observed the cat who lives in my foster home through a gate and hissed at him.  I was not interested in being friends with him, and my previous owner stated that I am anxious around other animals.  It would probably be best for my adjustment in my new home to be your only kitty. However, If you do have another cat, I would need a very slow introduction to him or her and my own space at first to feel safe and secure in your home. / Though my previous owner said I did okay with some dogs, my foster feels that the presence of a dog in their home may be keeping me anxious.  Best no dogs in my new home. / I’ve become receptive to the calm teens in my foster home spending time with me and petting me, but – since I am startled by loud noises and commotion, I should not live with younger children. • PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  My foster describes me as ‘a beautiful, affectionate cat who just needs a person willing to give me the time and space I need to feel safe’.  In fact, I spent several days under the bed, finally coming out to say hello. My foster came up with a great plan to help me socialize!  Instead of a large bed to hide under, I am in a room with a small table, draped with a sheet and a kitty bed underneath.  This made it much easier for her to interact with me. I am now coming out to say hello anytime someone comes in the room.  In fact, I love to be petted and to rub up against a friendly, calm person who loves spending time with me.  I don’t hiss or bite, and I will nudge you with my nose for extra pets once I get to know you. • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I had only one accident outside the litter box shortly after I arrived.  Otherwise,  I have kept my area clean in my foster home.    • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I DO like people once I know them.  I’ve become more and more comfortable with my foster mom and her teenage children – the more time they spend with me.  As my playful side slowly emerges, I’ve shown some interest in the feather wand.  I’ve grown confident enough to sit and watch the world outside from a window – progress! / I would not be happy if I were rushed to interact in an unfamiliar environment.  Please give me time and space to get to know you. I promise – if we take things slowly – I will feel safe and be a very loving and affectionate companion. Otherwise, I am sure I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, combo tested negative and spayed.   I am looking for a quiet, calm family that will give me the time to settle in to my new home – the kitty love I provide will be worth the wait!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.November 7, 2024, 4:18 pm

Story
Kiba is what I like to call a grumpy old man who secretly likes to cuddle! He is roughly 9 years old (he was found in someone's backyard years ago). Kiba loves to sit in my lap and be held even though he tries to pretend like he doesn't. He was diagnosed with a heart murmur which means limited physical activity for him, a hematoma in one ear and he also has a sensitive digestive system so no wet or human food please! I'm looking for someone who can be patient with him, he really is a sweet cat. Oh! Kiba also enjoys a good shower time haha, this cute boy isn't afraid of water.

Story
Cosmo is a sweet, adventurous, talkative and playful 1 year old teenage cat in need of a loving home and a patient owner. He gets along very well with other cats and is not shy around people. He is VERY food motivated meaning he is receptive to training (he currently knows how to sit on command and respond to his name), but that also means that he requires a watchful eye when it comes to foods he is not supposed to be eating. A cat-proofed apartment is a must, he is capable of venturing into cabinets and very high spaces typically in pursuit of food. He is very high energy so he would thrive best in a home with other young cats present along with designated solo playtime. Due to his high energy, experienced cat owners are preferred. He adores the laser pointer and loves those feather toys that suction to the ground. He would do really well with clicker training. I just want to get him to a home with an owner that can meet all of his play and behavioral needs.

Yo, what’s up? The name’s Biggie—because I’ve got a big personality packed into my sleek, 7-pound frame! I’m a 5-year-old Maine Coon mix rocking a dapper tabby and white coat that’ll make you do a double-take. My previous owner sadly couldn’t take care of me anymore, so here I am at the shelter, waiting to find my next great home. Could it be yours? Let me tell you—I’m house-trained and the perfect gentleman around other cats. I know how to keep my cool and bring harmony to any household. Already neutered and up to date on all my shots, I’m ready to move in and bring some feline fabulousness to your life. I might be small, but my heart is huge, and I’ve got plenty of love to give. Whether you’re looking for a chill buddy to keep you company or a curious pal to explore with, I’m your guy. Swing by cage #624 to meet me. My ID is 7026.
