Story
Hi there. You can call me Usco, for that is the name I go by over here at the shelter. I'm a long-haired smoke colored boy kitty, and I'm 6 months old. I'm sharing a cage with my sister, Ula. You can pet me and give me attention, but be warned that I might decide I need to growl a little to keep you from getting any crazy ideas. I am a playful guy, and I love to snuggle and cuddle with my sister, so it would be great if I could get adopted with her; I think I'd be okay without her if the right family finds me, though. I am apparently also a 'floof' according to the people here at the shelter. I will probably need to be brushed from time to time, so my furever family will need to be up for helping me with that.    The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    January 24, 2026, 12:35 am

Story
Hi… My name is Sampson and I’m looking for my forever human to grow old with…. My mom loves me very much but she travels weekly for work and I would love a lap to sit beside daily. I also have a sister (cat) and I’m not a fan of her. I prefer to be the “King of my Castle” and want all the attention. I love my Temptation treats and thus I’m a little on the “fluffy” side. Although I’m primarily an indoor only cat, I do like to sit outside with my mom and get some fresh air and watch the birds. I also love getting my hair brushed so I can remain a handsome man. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my mom. Thanks for taking a look at my profile… 🙏🏻♥️

Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Mango was hand-raised by me as a two-week-old kitten along with his brother and is now a sweet but sometimes needy, 16-year-old gentle giant. He is starting to display some cognitive issues due to his age and sometimes caterwauls, mostly at night, and gets confused sometimes. So Mango needs an adopter who is patient and willing to deal with all of his declining health issues related to his age. I love Mango very much, but personal financial issues have made it to where I have to make the heart-breaking decision to part with my dear Mango and my other cats.
