Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I’m Darla, and I would love to be your dearly beloved feline forever friend. I am truly a sweet girl just looking for a family and home to call my own. I have the prettiest green eyes, delightful pink nose, and stunning long-haired coat. I can be a little shy at first, but I will warm up to everyone and can be a sweet lap kitty who purrs and loves attention. I am a kitten at heart and enjoy playing together with my toys once I get comfortable around you. I would make a wonderful indoor companion and friend for anyone willing to give me a chance. To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application which is available here:   https://www.shelteringhands.org/adoptionapplication.  For additional information, email our Adoptions Team at adoptions@shelteringhands.org.  Once applications are approved the Adoptions Team will coordinate the best way for you to get your new furry family member and bring them home. Story
Buvies update... she was picked up this morning at OCAS by her fosters and she is already showing huge improvement. This is exactly what we expected to see from her. Every day she spent in the shelter was taking a toll on her and she would not have made it out, without intervention. The group from Urgent Cats of Central Florida do a great job promoting these cases and they are the reason we even knew Buvies needed help. Once she is decompressed, Buvies has a long term foster offer from Brooke (one of our beloved adoptive families that adopted Blossom and Starshine). A small army of amazing people had pledged for her rescue and we have had about $90 donated for her through PayPal, today. She was pulled "as is" so she wouldn't have to wait for spay to leave... the pledges will help a great deal towards her veterinary expenses! Thank you everyone! Buvies truly has a village around her and she is already feeling the love!! Woot woot! ##1992641##

Story
Three little kittens found their way to the loving home of one of our foster moms. They have started their booster vaccines and they are on the hunt for loving forever homes. They are playful and sassy, healthy and ready to meet their forever families. Our kittens cannot be adopted until they have had their spay surgeries. We typically do this at three to four months of age. However, we have a foster to adopt a program that allows approved applicants to care for their own kittens while they grow and get their boosters. Once the surgeries are done the ownership would then be transferred. We are a foster based organization and it is a very rewarding process to be a part of raising a kitten. We want families to have as much time to bond as possible.
