Story
*PART OF A BONDED PAIR - PAIR MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER* Bethany is a kitty of few words. A long hair tortie, Bethany truly exemplifies the term “tortitude.” Originally from a feral colony in Colchester, CT, Bethany and her sister Lydia have become the least feral cats her foster family has rehabilitated. Bethany is a calm soul who enjoys her days lazing by the window, watching the wildlife go by. However, once the toys come out, all bets are off. Bethany can play with the best of them! As cute as Bethany is, she really isn’t that much of a cuddler. Bethany very much enjoys her personal space and will spend time with you on her terms. That is not to say she doesn’t show affection like her foster siblings, she just chooses how and when it is appropriate, making every time she sits with you that much more special. Bethany has become a staple in her foster house, almost like she’s been there all along, and she is sure to cement herself as a member of your family in no time at all! Bethany needs to be adopted with her sister, Lydia. Bethany was born around May 1, 2023, and is currently being fostered in Naugatuck. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, is microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.  All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found on our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.November 6, 2024, 9:46 am

Story
Pebbles is one gorgeous long haired calico. Somehow this beautiful girl ended up living in a Colony but thankfully had the best person watching over her and the others.   Pebbles is shy but once she feels safe with you she loves to be petted.  Her purr can be heard by all.  She will headbutt your hand to continue those pets and when no one is looking will toss a toy mouse around like it was real. Pebbles rooms with another cat now and think she would do very well with another calm cat.  The perfect home will be someone who understands she is shy and willing to give her that time.  A quiet home we feel would suit her best. Please consider giving this gorgeous girl a home. You can find our online-fillable adoption application by visiting https://animalsforlife.org/feline-adoption-application.November 4, 2024, 7:22 pm
