Meet Saffron, a stunning orange female longhair. Saffron was born around the beginning of May and was dumped on the streets. She was sick and undernourished when she was found by a passerby. Saffron can be timid around new people but becomes an absolute delight once she comes out of her shell. She loves to run, play, and chase. When she is tuckered out, she likes to be with her people, either napping nearby or on a lap. She’s quick to purr when getting pets. Saffron would do best in a home with another young cat who wants to play. Saffron was born around May 1, 2025, and is currently being fostered in Naugatuck. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. We expected to need to trap her, but the woman had done such a great job with her over the week that she was able to pick her up.
