Story
***Staff thinks I will be ready by early January. My foster family says `Chloe is one of the Magnificent 7 Kittens. A litter of seven strays who arrived at the shelter needing a little TLC, which was provided by a foster family so lively and quick we knew it must have been St. Nick! Chloe is a wonderful tuxedo kitten with white toes, whiskers, and ruffles. Chloe is well socialized and shows no fear of new things or us from the beginning. Where most kittens are frightened easily and tend to hide, Chloe immediately comes to greets us upon entering the room and wants to engage in play. She relishes being held and is content lounging in our laps. Chloe is alert, inquisitive, and adventurous. She also enjoys running, climbing, jumping, and wrestling with her littermates. Chloe has adjusted fine to changing surroundings, experiences, and loves exploring her environment which provides mental and physical stimulation. Her development is progressing well and should continue with a little TLC. She delights in pouncing on her favorite toy and playing with others. Chloe is well adjusted, confident, and affectionate. Chloe is beginning to show her independence as she matures. Chloe traveled well in a carrier/vehicle and was easy to handle during vet visits. Chloe’s socialization skills will continue to develop and she‘ll will be a wonderful addition to a good family. All Chloe wants for Christmas is a forever home. Please adopt her!!` *** I am not currently at the shelter because I`m growing big and strong in a foster home! You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-473-1741; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed on an animal.

A litter of seven strays who arrived at the shelter needing a little TLC, which was provided by a foster family so lively and quick we knew it must have been St. Nick! Story
Judy and her daughter Lana are looking for their forever home. These beauties will need to be adopted together. Mama Judy is a gorgeous long-haired black cat with white on her face. She's still shy but is getting better about being petted. She wants to be a sweetheart and needs someone with patience to help her feel comfortable. She is estimated to be around 4 years old. Lana, the young daughter of Judy is a beauty just like her mom! She is also a domestic long haired black cat with white. She was born on 3/31/21. Judy was a wonderful mom and has always been close to Lana, who is quite a character and very outgoing! She plays a lot and wants to be chased, then be held. She loves to be brushed. Lana helps Judy feel more comfortable and she definitely needs her to feel safe and gain confidence. Both have lived with other cats. Lana is very interested in the resident dogs in her foster home. Judy and Lana would do best in a quiet home. Judy is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. Her adoption fee is $125. She is being fostered in Peyton. If you are interested in adopting this pretty girl, please submit an application today: https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/catadoptionapplication/

Story
Shadow (black) and Coco are a bonded pair who are ready for adoption! They were recently surrendered due to an aggressive dog in the home. Shadow is a stunning long-haired black cat. He can be shy and hide for a few days in a new environment, but then he is quite sociable once he feels safe. Shadow enjoys playing with toys, including dangle toys and the laser. He also has a favorite squeaky toy! He is litter box trained. He especially enjoys wet food, but is also eating dry food. He would thrive in a calm environment without younger children, as he was particularly fearful of a toddler in his previous home. Shadow is approximately 1.5 years old. He is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $125. Coco has a unique coat pattern and is quite handsome! He warms up quickly and is ready to explore. He is Shadow’s constant companion and makes him feel safe. He is also playful and enjoys dangle toys and the laser. He is also litter box trained. He enjoys wet and dry food. Coco is approximately 4 years old. He is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $125. Coco is more confident and Shadow finds solace and security with him, which is why they must be adopted as a bonded pair. They both sleep at the foot of the bed in their foster home and are sweet and friendly boys. They are being fostered in Colorado Springs. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this adorable duo, please consider submitting an adoption application today! https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/catadoptionapplication/
