He can be shy and hide for a few days in a new environment, but then he is quite sociable once he feels safe. Shadow enjoys playing with toys, including dangle toys and the laser. I am trying to help my dying neighbor find a home for her cat. We are unsure how much time is left. Francis is 13-16 years old. Her current owner has had her for 3 years. The previous owners abandoned Francis, so there is trauma. Francis was declawed and chipped by the previous owners. She hates to be touched. She will come to you, but do not try to touch her. She will hiss, growl and run away. With this being said, Francis will also come up to you and want petted on the head once she is comfortable with you. She seems to be extra sensitive to touch from her shoulders back. If you sit quietly, she will come over to you, but needs to build trust. She does sleep on the current owners bed and gently taps her head to wake the owner up to feed her. Francis will come over to people, but she wants to be in charge of how and when. Francis is long haired, but recently got a shave. She needs a safe, quiet, understanding home. Francis loves her outdoor enclosed porch.
