Story
Will you give Sprout a warm home? Sprout is 3 years old. He's good with other cats. Not sure on dogs. We have gained his trust and he has learned how to meow and act sweet, rubbing against you, accepting pets, especially for wet food! It is the key to his heart. Being touched is very much on his terms. Usually around meal time. If you touch him while he's unsure or not in the mood he will give a nasty strike. Sprout's ideal home is with no kids and an owner who lets him come around on his time. He is FIV positive.  ##2002738##

Very quiet and independent. Nala was a female given to my family because we had adopted her brother. She doesn’t get along with our other boys. She needs a place to herself

Story
This cat is recommended as a Barn Cat because we have observed that s/he appears to be unfamiliar and uncomfortable with people. We believe that this cat is accustomed to living, likely with other cats, in a protected outdoor environment and may enjoy living in a barn or other outbuilding. Because, upon adoption, the environment will be a new one for this cat, there is a specific five-week acclimation process to help this cat remain safe in his new home. We recommend adopting another cat for companionship during and after this acclimation process. In time, this cat may even warm up to new people and may later enjoy time and attention.

Story
Honey was found as a stray February last year. She had frost bite and had just healed from all of it, she lost part of her tail to the frost bite. Honey is a very sweet and cuddly cat who like to just lounge about most of the time. She likes to lay on her person to nap, and to groom her person's hair. She can be a bit rambunctious and gets plenty of zoomies.

Story
Wesley is a chill guy: loves to lounge, watch the birds, go play outside by himself. He does not have litterbox issues and he's been super low maintenance his whole life. If you give him a cardboard box or a bucket to jump into, he will love you forever :) At least once a day, he comes over and passionately demands a cuddle; ear scratches are his absolute favorite. He loves the occasional laser pointer playtime. And it's safe to assume, that if you sit down to watch a movie, he will come and join you for a long snuggle. We are unable to keep up with giving him the love he needs now that we have a 1-year-old. Additionally, Dad's allergies are getting worse every day and it's no longer an option to keep making it work. We would love to find him a home with someone who wants a cool, gorgeous, low-maintenance cat that can give him the snuggles and love and playtime he deserves.

Story
Who are our Working Cats? Some cats are not social enough to live as indoor pets, and prefer an independent lifestyle. These cats have experience living outdoors and are proficient mousers. Since these kitties are happier and more successful outdoors, we put them to work in homes, farms, and businesses where they can do what they do best. All our blue collar kitties are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, ear tipped, and fully vaccinated. Why hire a Working Cat? By hiring a blue collar kitty, you can avoid using toxic pesticides, save money on a pest control service, and provide a home to a cat in need. Adoption fees are waived for our Working Cats. Cats are also more effective than other methods of pest control because they act as a deterrent! If you are interested in adopting a Working Cat, please visit the shelter in person to start the process.

Story
Hello everyone, First and foremost, Bits aka "Chonkers" is 6 years old and is what some may describe as a "parents cat". He is not a fan of strangers but he does LOVE ATTENTION. There is a possibility that he might hiss at you. However, if you give him some time and food (giving him food speeds up the time significantly), he will be a VERY loving and participatory cat and as a result, will have no issues with showing you his belly. Chonkers love head scratches, belly rubs and enjoying the sun on his fur. You're more than welcome to reach out for more details that's not mentioned here! ***NOTE: You can check out Chonker's playmate/partner in crime here: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/43090931-northglenn-colorado-cat
