We adopted Pip from a shelter when he was a kitten and he is now 6.5 years old. We have another cat that we have had longer and in the past 4 years our older cat had started to bully Pip. He spends most of his day hiding or sleeping and is clearly not happy in our house. We have been trying to get him happier but nothing seems to work. He would probably be happier as the only cat in a household. He does however get along great with dogs and kids. He is a very sweet cat who loves to sit on your lap and hang out. Because he gets stressed easily, he is on prozac and on prescription food for urinary stones.

The first time was because my previous owner was moving into a memory care facility. I eventually found my new owner and thought things were going well, until one day I ended up here again. But, after several months I was lucky enough to find a loving foster home! Sadly, my fosters were unable to care for me long term so I am back at the shelter. Though, I am shy at first, I eventually warm up to people. I am very playful (for an old guy) and I never met a wand toy or laser that didn’t instantly get my attention. My most recent foster mom carried me around like a clutch, which is funny because I didn’t like to be picked up at the shelter. In fact, I really started to come out of my shell in my foster home.
