Story
Hi there! I'm Blessing, a 13-years young, long haired black neutered male. Don't let my age fool you. I'm an active playful guy that keeps the staff entertained with my antics. I'm really friendly too. I'm good with older kids but not great with other cats or dogs. I arrived at Safe Place when my owner of many years moved to hospice. I will need regular brushing to keep my beautiful long locks looking great, but I like to be brushed so that's easy. My favorite things include playing in the tunnels at Safe Place, sitting on the couch with you while you admire me, and chasing the feather wand. My $100 adoption donation includes FVRCP cat vaccs, Rabies, a microchip, FeLV/FIV blood test, and a recent visit with the veterinarian. Safe Place will include a bag of my favorite food too. visit www.safeplacepets.org to fill out an application and meet me today!

Story
** I may need time to adjust to my new home **** nervous when handled **Overstimulated Cats:Champa is a high-energy (overstimulated) cat. Overstimulated cats can often play rough, nip, scratch, and become over-the-top way too quickly and sometimes these behaviors happen because of too much petting or attention. Most of the time these cats are very friendly, affectionate, and love attention; however, they can strike out in a short amount of time. Learn to know when your cat is becoming overstimulated and stop petting them as soon as the behaviors begin. It is best to not encourage overstimulated behaviors so you can `teach` your cat how to accept attention appropriately. Use toys such as feather wands, balls, and toy mice to help distract your cat. Also have several interactive play sessions with him daily to help get his energy out!

Story
Please tell us a little about why you feel you would be a good match for Muffin. Our rescue is located about 7 minutes from the Castle Rock Outlet Mall. Muffin will probably be a beautiful cat....long/medium hair and fluffy. He is friendly, loving and a purr-bucket. The sweetest thing about him is he will play for awhile then jump up on my lap and fall asleep for awhile then go back and play. He comes when you call him. He is a very confident kitten and he absolutely loves people. He is litter box trained and has been around our large dog and actually likes him. He has been vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped & dewormed. He would be good with any family. Call (303) 875-7740
