Story
Are you hiring? This is working cat is seeking a job in a rural environment such as a farm, stable, or garden center where they can enjoy the freedom of outdoor life with the safety of a familiar place and a committed caretaker. Working cats span the spectrum of sociability, with some cats quite inexperienced and fearful of people, preferring to work from the shadows, and some cats who will eagerly rub against your boot and join you for your outdoor chores. Some working cats may amaze you with the mouse catching antics and athleticism, and some may be more hands off, discouraging pests with their presence and scent. Looking for a particular personality? Ask our team about finding the right cat for your environment. To set your new farm hand up for success, we recommend setting up a cozy, confined space replete with food, water, and litterbox. After a week or two of enjoying the amenities of their new environment they'll feel much safer staying put and getting to work. Have a big job? Ask our team about cats that may enjoy working in pairs or groups. All working cat adoptions are fee-waived, with spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and ear-tip included. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 10.34 Age: 6yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Olive is a sweet, spunky 7-year-old with soft, fluffy black fur and stunning green eyes. A staff favorite and proud member of our Lonely Hearts Club, she’s playful, energetic, and just a little mischievous (Okay maybe she's a bit more than a little bit... But who doesn't love mischief?)! Though she had a rough start in life, she’s now full of personality and ready for a home of her own. Olive is not a fan of other cats or dogs and would thrive best in a home with no small children, we recommend 10 and up for Olive. Olive is diabetic and requires twice-daily insulin, special food, and regular glucose monitoring. While she can be a bit selective with new people, once she warms up, she’s full of love, headbutts, and kisses. Come say hello—you might be just who she’s been waiting for!

Meet Zephyr – A Fluffy Cloud of Play and Purrs Zephyr is a stunning long-haired gray and white kitten with a soft, fluffy coat and an equally sweet personality. This handsome boy absolutely adores other cats and must have a kitty friend in his new home to keep him happy and entertained. Zephyr loves to play and is always excited about toys of every kind. Whether he’s batting, chasing, or pouncing, he puts his whole heart into playtime. After he’s worn himself out, he’s perfectly content to curl up for a cozy nap, often in the cutest little fluffy ball you’ve ever seen. He has excellent litter box manners, is fully vetted, and could do well with a polite, cat-savvy dog. If you’re looking for a playful, social kitten who balances fun with fabulous naps, Zephyr is ready to be your new best friend.

Story
Meet Poppie – A Wobbly Wonder with a Big Personality Poppie is a gorgeous brown tabby, medium-haired young adult with an infectious zest for life. She has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which makes her a bit wobbly, but don’t tell her that. Poppie gets around just fine, has no idea she’s any different, and truly lives life as the life of the party. She does very well with a high-sided litter box and has excellent manners. Poppie is social, friendly, and loves being involved in whatever her people are doing. She’s a big fan of cuddling and will happily shower you with affection, including her signature little love bites to let you know just how much she cares. Poppie is not a fan of other cats, but she does very well with polite, respectful dogs and would be a great fit for a home with older kids. Fully vetted and full of personality, Poppie is a special girl who has so much love to give. She’s beautiful inside and out and truly deserves a chance at a wonderful, loving life.
