Story
Estimated Birthday 05-01-2024 May not do well with.... KidsDogs Physical Description Beautiful long haired kitty with a calico cap and a few spots on her mostly white body with a bushy calico tail. Personality Lola is a sweet but shy girl, she will play with toys independently but prefers to move about only when she feels very safe. She has excellent house manners and is food motivated to climb a cat tree when her foster is present but will need a quiet and calm home in which to adjust. She's lived with several other foster kittens amongst two foster homes and has gotten along with everyone she's met. She would benefit from a quiet environment with a few humans that are okay with her continuing to be shy and will be patient as she adjusts. It is unlikely she will ever be a lap cat but she's shown herself to be very food motivated and playful around other cats and kittens.  We feel Lola would also make an excellent barn cat / mouser with the right home that will help her adjust to a new environment so she knows where her food and home are.  This kitty has what sort of characteristics? CuriousIndependentShy with new humans The best home to adopt me would be Experienced cat family The best home atmosphere would be Quiet/calm Other animals? Story
Adoption Fees $200 for kittens up to one year $160 for cats over one year All cats have been: -  Spayed/neutered -  FVRCP vaccinated -  FeLV tested (FeLV/FIV for adults) -  Dewormed -  Flea treated -  Microchipped Meet Oscar – The Rugged Gentleman with a Soft Side   Oscar’s story started rough: kept outdoors by his former caretaker, then picked up and dumped by an apartment manager far from home. Luckily, we found him—intact and in need of a second chance. With feral colonies nearby, we knew he couldn’t be left out again, so we brought him in.   Since recovering, Oscar has settled into life as an indoor cat (with possible supervised outdoor privileges). He seems content and independent, but don’t let his cool demeanor fool you—he’s quietly loyal and will curl up next to you at night.   Oscar would likely do best as a solo pet or in a home with calm, confident dogs. He’s not a fan of other cats—especially the nervous ones—as he’s still learning how to “cat.” He loves to chase toys (and sometimes other cats, which doesn’t go over well here), so a home where he can burn off that playful energy would be ideal.   His perfect match? Someone who works from home or enjoys quiet companionship. He’s not needy, but he likes to be near his person. Offer him a Churu, some good kibble, or soft food and you’ll earn major points.   Oscar is neutered, healthy, and ready for the next chapter—with someone who sees the value in a resilient cat who just wants to belong.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adoptions Events on Saturdays:   Petco in Vacaville, 210 Nut Tree Pkwy from 11am-2pm Petco in Fairfield, 1320 Gateway Blvd, from 2- 5pm Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. Story
* Apple is in a foster home and is not at the animal shelter. If you are interested in Apple, please email angela.kinn.ak@gmail.com * Meet Apple! Apple is about 10 years young and looking for a loving home. Apple was found in a rural area weighing only 3 pounds and near death from a painful infection in her mouth due to an embedded foxtail.  Thankfully the kind person who found her brought her straight to us so we could save her life so she can find the loving home she deserves!  Apple is a gentle, affectionate sweetheart with a very calming vibe. Apple loves to be petted and brushed and will purr and make biscuits. Apple is polydactyl, which means that she has extra toes on her paws making them look like mitts. She is an adorable, sweet girl who is craving a quiet, loving home where she can be spoiled and enjoy all the love and attention she could ever want. Apple loves being brushed and this is a great way to bond with her. There is so much to discover with this sweet lady. She would love to be your friend and cuddle buddy. Apple seems to do well with other cats, but would appreciate a calm household with cats who will respect her space if she needs it. We do not know how Apple would be around dogs, but if your dog is mellow she'd probably be fine.January 26, 2026, 9:55 pm

Story
Teddy or *Teddy La Pew"I sometimes call him because he has a perfect patch of gray down his back that looks like a skunk from behind. Teddy cuz he's like a little teddy bear he is just a sweet gentle boy gets along with other kitties and his got his confidence to play wholeheartedly now that he's got over his shyness. He probably would be a little shy at first but with love and care he'll come out and show his little snuggles and he rubs up against you for pets. If you're looking for two he gets along great with Mila.
