Story
Cleo was adopted by my parents in 2017. He was about 8 weeks old from the pound. He has always been a skittish cat- he can coexist with dogs but they do not play nor cuddle- he tends to say to himself. My parents moved overseas about 3 months ago and I found out I am very allergic to cleo. He has long fur and sheds a lot - I went to my doctor and with all the medication and treatments I have to make the unfortunate decision to rehome him. He deserves someone who can cuddle him and provide that affection. Cleo is so well behaved- he goes in his litter box, he comes out for a bit and at night just wants to snuggle up. He uses his scratching post - has never harmed furniture. He is truly a good pet. it takes time for him to get adjusted to change. He will do well in a home with and adult and no other pet.

Story
Hi! I'm Cheddar Cheese! I was rescued in Stockton, CA. I’m a floofy, sweet, and playful Maine Coon mix kitty. I have super soft fur (that requires regular brushings) and an adorably goofy nature that makes me a joy to have around!   Humans ooh and aah over me when they see me but then when they hear my cute squeaky meow, their hearts melt trying to process just how precious I am. I really enjoy receiving affection from humans but usually on my terms. I’m happy to receive pets all over when I’m in the mood and will curl up for chest snuggles when I decide it’s the right time. I can be a bit nervous at first when in a new environment and around new humans but I become comfortable with a little patience and gentle interactions.   I love to play, especially with feather toys. Are they birds or toys? I don’t care because they peak my interest and curiosity, and are lots of fun.  Speaking of curiosity, I do have an inquisitive nature and will sometimes even nibble on houseplants. Keeping them out of my reach or making sure only kitty safe plants (that might encounter some munching) are around me are important.   I’m currently in a foster home with a resident kitty and we get along now, after a slow and proper introduction that took about a week. Although I get along with other cats, I don’t have to have a furiend in my forever home as long as I receive lots of love from my humans.   I’ll make the purrfect companion in a home with a family who will initially offer me patience and ongoing play and affection. Maybe that family is you!   Please note: Indoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1741662149&src=aap]

Story
Hi, I’m Chotu, and I was rescued from Stockton, CA with Kati. I’m super fluffy with a majestic mane and tail. My foster thinks my color is so pretty! I have a buff-colored coat and golden eyes. My personality is very sweet and gentle. I’m initially a bit shy but honestly with your encouragement and some treats, I’ll get pretty comfortable in just a few days. I think Churu is the world’s greatest thing and I forget all my fears when I smell Churu. Another sure way to my heart is brushing! Be sure to brush me regularly to help me maintain my stunning coat. Don’t worry, I make it easy for you because I love it, and it’s a great way to bond with me. Once I know you a little, it’s abundantly clear that I love humans! I’ll always come up to you, politely asking for pets and attention. I’m one of those well-mannered and gentle-tempered cats who’s not pushy about attention. But I’ll gently rub against your legs or look at you lovingly with adorable golden eyes. I love being on laps too. If you put me on your lap and cuddle me, I’ll be very happy and softly knead biscuits. I’m also very good at being picked up - I just melt in your arms. Maybe I have some ragdoll in me too, who knows! My gentle and sweet temperament makes me a great addition to any household really, as long as you can give me half a week of patience at the start. You can adopt me with my fluffy friend Kati, or I can be your solo cat, or a friend to your cat. Story
Deneb was very shy and frightened when he first arrived to Milo from a hoarding house. He's made great progress thanks to the help of our staff and volunteers! He now begs for pets and loves to get his head scratched. He sometimes needs some space, still, though. A slow approach and consensual handling are important to earn his trust. He is cat friendly - a foster or adopter with an outgoing friend cat will help him open up even more.
