Story
Katya is 5-7 years old. She mostly liked to lay down but is very affectionate once you earn it. She’s verbal when hungry. She sleeps with me every night. She likes wet food. She likes scratching post and the occasional fake mouse. She is an inside cat. She will not do well outside. I adopted her from an animal shelter. She had an abusive environment prior to my adopting her. It took me a long time to make her this friendly and happy. She needs a good loving home. She does not fight other cats but tends to be bullied by them. She hates dogs. She is shy and avoidant of strangers but once you earn her trust she is extremely affectionate. She loves to sleep on my pillow with me.

Story
Hi there! My name is Blu and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 6 year old, male, Himalayan who came to SB Humane in search of a new caring home. Hi, I'm Blu! I’m an independent, solitary cat who enjoys my quiet time. I’m calm, laid back, and I love having a peaceful space to relax in. While I’m not one for a lot of fuss, I’m perfectly content keeping to myself and soaking up some sunshine. If you're looking for a chill companion, I might just be your perfect match! I warm up very quickly and love being so affectionate when I am comfortable! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
