Story
*My adoption fee is sponsored!*Age: ~10+ / Weight: 9 lbsMeet ROSIE!Rosie`s here for a good time, not a long time. She`s lived fast and wild for 10+ years, but honestly no one really knows how old she is. And due to some medical mysteries, we don`t believe Rosie has alot of time left. She needs an angel. Preferrably one that walks the earth and doesn`t have other pets.Pawspice (or Hospice) adoption is a thing. It`s not for everyone -- but for some, filling the last chapter of an animal`s life with care, comfort, and love is one of most gratifying experiences they`ll ever have. We can totally fill you in on the ins and outs of Rosie (including all of her health details) over the phone, but in summary, she has a good quality of life that is maintained through a special diet and a supplement or two. The rest of her happiness is managed by the presence of a human she trusts. Once you`ve received it, she`s a magnet cat. A little grey and white shadow who always reminds you when it`s time to eat. An interactive lap warmer who`ll spoon you in bed at night. She has no teeth and only occasionally brushes her hair. And if you sass her, she`ll sass you right back. She’s everyone’s grandma! Are you in need of a cat who TRULY needs you? Have you ever wanted to be a savior to an animal? Does the idea of providing a cat with love, comfort, and care for the last months of their life make your heart swell? If so, we need you. Rosie needs you.Give us a call or fill out an online Adopter`s Profile.

Story
Hi, I’m Montalvi! I came to the shelter with my sibling Brynn as an Owner Surrender. We aren`t quite considered a bonded pair, but we have never been apart, and we would sure like to keep it that way! So far staff and volunteers report that we are still getting used to this shelter thing, but that we appear to enjoy being pet and are open to human companionship. Even though I would prefer to go home with Brynn, I could possibly be open to a home with another cat so long as we were given a proper introduction and adequate decompression time. So, do you have space in your heart for one (or two) new feline friends? If so, come down to the shelter Wed-Sun 11-5 during Browsing Hours and meet me!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Ranger must be adopted with one of his siblings:  Merry, Sam, or Pippin.  If you're interested in meeting this adorable kitten, please complete an online adoption application or reach out to us via email at info@ibokrescue.org. All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, dewormed, deflead and microchipped prior to being delivered to their loving forever home. All of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs as it is our policy not to place kittens under six months of age in a forever home without another same aged kitten. We also do not place kittens older than six months into homes where there is currently not another young cat in residence. Most of our kittens are in 'bonded pairs' or bonded with their littermates. We reserve the right not to separate bonded pairs or place kittens individually. The happiness and quality of life for our kittens is our top priority. =^..^=Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 12, 2024, 3:04 pm

Story
Luke was found abandoned at a drive-in theater parking lot.  Our rescue group took him in and got him fixed and vaccinated and chipped.  He is very affectionate.  He likes to follow you around sometimes for pets.  He sometimes gets overstimulated and gives you a light nip but nothing serious.  He just lets you know when he's done.  He would be ok as an indoor/outdoor pet if it is a safe area with no busy traffic and no coyote activity.  He's really sweet.  October 23, 2024, 12:08 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Jackson, a ball of fur with the biggest heart, is searching for his forever home. His big, fluffy tail and adorable black and white face are sure to charm anyone who meets him. One of Jackson's most endearing qualities is his love for cuddles. He'll often nuzzle up to you, seeking comfort and affection. While he's still working on weaning himself from nursing, his sweet attempts to nurse on his human friends are simply irresistible. When he is redirected he simply cuddles up and purrs.  Jackson is a playful and energetic kitten. He loves chasing toys, batting at string, and exploring his surroundings. He's also very social and gets along well with other cats and people. If you're looking for a loving and affectionate companion, Jackson is the perfect kitten for you. He's ready to bring joy and warmth into your life. Do you have room in your heart and home for Jackson? Story
Hi there! I'm Shaggy! I'm a long-haired, green-eyed brown tabby looking for my forever home. After spending over four years at the shelter and being adopted twice, I know what I like and what I don't. Here's a little about me: Likes: - Roaming space to explore - think big catios or high perches! - Quiet moments and alone time to recharge. - Being a skilled mouser - watch out, critters! - Dogs don't bother me at all; I'm pretty chill about them. - Wearing ties or bandanas - why not add a bit of style to my day? Dislikes: - Too much fuss and loud energy; I prefer a calm atmosphere. - Rushing into friendships; I need time to warm up and trust. - I've always been a bit of a rebel, doing my own thing, but once I feel comfortable, I can be a - loyal companion. If you're ready to embrace my unique spirit, I'd love to meet you!
