Story
Meet Phoebe! This enchanting 10-year-old long-haired gray and white tuxedo cat is a vision of beauty with her distinctive ear tufts, large fluffy paws, and captivating green eyes.Phoebe's favorite pastimes include playing with strings and wand toys, basking in sunny spots, and watching birds flutter outside her window. Treats are the way to her heart, and her affectionate nature shines through in her head-bonking and leg-rubbing gestures. While Phoebe adores attention—whether it’s brushing, petting, or laptime—her independent spirit and diva tendencies sometimes shine through, and she may let you know she’s had enough with a sassy little nip. We believe she’ll thrive in a stable, loving home that respects her boundaries and cherishes her unique personality. A kind purrson partially sponsored Phoebe's adoption fee to help her find the perfect forever family, so she is just $25 to adopt. After nearly two years at the shelter, Phoebe is currently taking a break from shelter life and enjoying the comforts of foster care. To meet this stunning tuxie girl, call HART at (805) 927-7377or fill out an adoption application today—she’s ready to bring a little magic into your life!

Story
Does your kitty need a kitty friend? Statler is your boy! He is a very chill, non-demanding, one year old beautiful kitty with luxurious fur that he keeps very clean and nice. He enjoys face scratches when he's lounging, but otherwise keeps to himself or plays with his kitty friends. He is a wonderful big brother to the new foster kittens in the house, he is so gentle and loving to them. He'd make a wonderful pair with any of our foster kitties, but he must go to a home with a kitty to be his friend, so that he'll remain his happy cutie self!

Story
Mars is the introvert of the litter! He is a stunning kitten with that fluffy coat. He keeps his fur super clean and nice. He is very smart - he loves to run in the cat wheel, hunt treats from the treat puzzles, and he loves to hang out with the other cats of the house. When it’s treat time he is affectionate; otherwise he is more chill and wants to just do his own thing. He’s the best! Text his foster Liz at 831-234-2587

Story
Come on in to the Owl House and give a warm hello to the adorable Hooty and Owlberta! We found these two adorable sisters as kittens abandoned and struggling, so we took them in and just look at them now! They are the closest of sisters, yet in some ways couldn’t be more opposite and complimentary too! Owlberta is short hair and very much a cat’s cat. She loves hanging out with other cats (not just her sister) and she loves playing, hunting, or chasing after her friends. Occasionally, she’ll be willing to grace a human with her presence, but she would much prefer the company of other cats instead and, if anything, you’ll be lucky to catch a glimpse of her as she’s playing. Her long-haired sister Hooty is in some ways the polar opposite, at least when it comes to humans: she will immediately run up for love, push against you for pets, or if you’re leaning back in a chair, she will gladly put her paws on your chest and demand your full love and attention! Yet she loves to play with other cats too, especially but not exclusively with her sister. While you won’t always find them hanging out with each other, they will absolutely play or wander together, and if you separate them, they will both let you know how unhappy they are, so we consider Hooty and Owlberta a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. They might be yin and yang in personality, but these two quirky sisters deserve to find a loving furever home, so will it be yours? They are spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and ready to go today! Hooty and Owlberta are about 1 year old.
