Story
Estimated Birthday 05-01-2024 May not do well with.... KidsDogs Physical Description Beautiful long haired kitty with a calico cap and a few spots on her mostly white body with a bushy calico tail. Personality Lola is a sweet but shy girl, she will play with toys independently but prefers to move about only when she feels very safe. She has excellent house manners and is food motivated to climb a cat tree when her foster is present but will need a quiet and calm home in which to adjust. She's lived with several other foster kittens amongst two foster homes and has gotten along with everyone she's met. She would benefit from a quiet environment with a few humans that are okay with her continuing to be shy and will be patient as she adjusts. It is unlikely she will ever be a lap cat but she's shown herself to be very food motivated and playful around other cats and kittens.  We feel Lola would also make an excellent barn cat / mouser with the right home that will help her adjust to a new environment so she knows where her food and home are.  This kitty has what sort of characteristics? CuriousIndependentShy with new humans The best home to adopt me would be Experienced cat family The best home atmosphere would be Quiet/calm Other animals? Story
Adoption Fees $200 for kittens up to one year $160 for cats over one year All cats have been: -  Spayed/neutered -  FVRCP vaccinated -  FeLV tested (FeLV/FIV for adults) -  Dewormed -  Flea treated -  Microchipped Meet Oscar – The Rugged Gentleman with a Soft Side   Oscar’s story started rough: kept outdoors by his former caretaker, then picked up and dumped by an apartment manager far from home. Luckily, we found him—intact and in need of a second chance. With feral colonies nearby, we knew he couldn’t be left out again, so we brought him in.   Since recovering, Oscar has settled into life as an indoor cat (with possible supervised outdoor privileges). He seems content and independent, but don’t let his cool demeanor fool you—he’s quietly loyal and will curl up next to you at night.   Oscar would likely do best as a solo pet or in a home with calm, confident dogs. He’s not a fan of other cats—especially the nervous ones—as he’s still learning how to “cat.” He loves to chase toys (and sometimes other cats, which doesn’t go over well here), so a home where he can burn off that playful energy would be ideal.   His perfect match? Someone who works from home or enjoys quiet companionship. He’s not needy, but he likes to be near his person. Offer him a Churu, some good kibble, or soft food and you’ll earn major points.   Oscar is neutered, healthy, and ready for the next chapter—with someone who sees the value in a resilient cat who just wants to belong.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adoptions Events on Saturdays:   Petco in Vacaville, 210 Nut Tree Pkwy from 11am-2pm Petco in Fairfield, 1320 Gateway Blvd, from 2- 5pm Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. Story
What is eyelid agenesis and how does it affect a cat’s vision? This genetic condition caused the eyelids to grow incorrectly and often results in eyes being poked by lashes too. We stepped in to take two heroes with this superpower with the help of our partner, Rocket Cat Rescue, from Solano Animal Care Services in June 2025.  Gus and Emma are “boneless” kittens who flop onto you for pets, demand to be carried, and sleep in your arms at night. They keep themselves busy and have excellent older cat manners and don’t mind a Malamute mix around the house. Gus is the chatty charmer and Emma is a floppy investigator. These two will be able to receive care at UC Davis through a grant for their condition for the next 12-18 months. Their ongoing needs are very minimal, but should either need additional surgery or care due to this condition, our door is always open and full of helping hands. They both have partial vision and aside from walking off of counters-they are normal, happy kittens who are ready for a home.  This foster home belongs to our partner rescue, Rocket Cat Rescue. The adult residents are experts at handling and raising cats who need extra considerations and have special needs. Their fosters are comfortable with a large, low energy dog and cats of all ages and types. These cats may have ongoing medical concerns, but all of their emergent needs are addressed and you'll receive detailed information from our medical team. Thank you for learning more about me! Please make sure you scroll down and click apply or use this link: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SFUR/Cat Our Hero Academy students earn a cape after completing basic litter box, nail trimming, scratching post, and carrier training with our expert volunteers. Fosters are microchipped, combo tested for FIV/FELV, spayed/neutered, treated for fleas/parasites, and receive age/wellness appropriate vaccines. We lovingly pack a Welcome Home Hero gift bag with their favorite toys, treats, a comic to read with them, and a blanket that helps them feel safe anywhere they go. Super Furiends Rescue is a nonprofit 501c3 organization located in Solano County, CA.

Story
Kenai is the sweetest boy ever and that is his downfall. My other cat and dog pick on him non stop because he is so submissive. He’s a cuddler and purrs non stop! He’s litter box trained and eats wet and dry food. He will play and be silly and also sleep next to you all night. Unfortunately my other pets keep injuring him by chasing him around the house and pulling out his hair. He would be best in a calm house with other animals who are friendly and nice to him. He is now locked in a room almost 24/7. He is about 8 years old and no health issues. If you’re looking for a sweet tuxedo purr baby Kenai is the perfect fit for your family!! Message me for more info or if you’d like to meet him

Story
Rosie the Riveter is a survivor who needs a loving home. We worked with Solano Animal Care Services and a Good Samaritan to ensure this fuzzy girl could recover from the trauma of being stuck in a busy intersection in Vacaville. Initially, her paw pads were scuffed, she shied from humans, and took every opportunity to hide; today she follows the lead of her confident cat friends and fights for snuggles into your lap. Since she is shy, we would love to see her go home with a confident adult cat or teenaged kitten; her same-aged foster mates are ‘too much’ for her. She has seen dogs and lived in the same home, but is wary of them; she may be ok with considerate introductions to a home with senior or livestock guardian dogs. Rosie is a teenager’s study buddy, grandpa’s lap warmer, and a sweet princess-can you help her continue to be a strong, independent, young lady? This foster home raises our orphaned kittens or bottle babies. They have advanced skills and work with fading kittens with the help of our medical team. Their foster kittens are typically ‘bombproof’ with dogs, cats, and kids. They travel back and forth to the vet for special visits, demand constant attention, and are generally social butterflies.
