Domestic Longhair kittens & cats in Youngtown, Arizona

Princess came to the shelter after her previous owner passed away. She is a senior cat that will need regular grooming as she has long hair that can become matted. Princess is somewhat shy but yet wants pets,and can become overstimulated. She is working on her socialization skills. She will require a slow introduction into her new home by starting in a small room where you can bond with her and gain her trust. Coming to the shelter after living over 10 years in a loving home can be confusing and stressful. Warlock can be timid and will need some time to trust his human. He loves pets when he is perched in his cat tree and can be picked up and cuddled. Spunky is a sweet kitty. He still is a bit scared of people, but he is warming up. He was born outside. We found Mama and his 2 siblings outside our home. We were able to get them into our house and take them to the vet and give them gentle baths to clean all the fleas off him. He is a gentle kitty and loves his treats. My name is Dusty. I am an 11 year old long haired cat. I'm looking for a home with people who can give me one on one attention and love. Unfortunately I have recently started to be mean to the other cats in the house that I've lived with for years. My mom doesn't think it's fair for me that I can't get the attention that I need, so she is looking for a good caring home for me. I love to cuddle, especially at night, and I have my own pillow that I like to sleep on. I also make the best biscuits! I'm used to dogs and get along great with them as long as they're not super energetic. I enjoy being pet and playing with toys on a string or with feathers. I also like to sit on the very top of the cat tower and or under the bed to sleep. I'm a sweet boy and just need the extra love and attention that I deserve.

I’m seeking a shelter with kennel space or a permanent home for Tai Lung, an FIV-positive stray cat I’ve cared for since November 9, 2024. He’s a sweet, affectionate lap cat who loves attention and will follow you everywhere. Despite his gentle nature, my other male cat is aggressive toward him, which makes their cohabitation stressful. Tai Lung has significant health needs. He requires a full dental extraction for stomatitis, but his heart murmur necessitates a specialist and an echocardiogram. He also has anemia, an ear infection with a mass requiring biopsy, and is underweight with matted fur. He’s not neutered and is estimated to be over six years old. I can provide all vet records and photos. Though litter-trained, he occasionally will go outside of it but I believe it's because lack of strength. I can’t financially meet his medical needs but want him in a non-euthanizing shelter or a loving home where he can thrive with proper care. Tai Lung deserves a chance for a better life.

Stevie Budd is a super sweet girl that we took in from a horrible hoarding situation. She is a bit shy but with time will be a great addition to any home.  She is very food motivated, she loves her dry kibble and is used to getting wet food two times a day in her foster home. She has come a long way. Stevie Budd is good with other kitties after proper introductions. We do not know of any prior exposure to dogs so a slow introduction is recommended. Onyx and Tanzanite are a bonded pair of indoor only cats in need of a new home due to their owner developing a medical condition. Onyx is almost 7, he is listed as a Mainecoon mix. He has very ling soft black fur and is a complete cuddle bug. Onyx wants to be wherever the people are and spends most of his day cuddling with his person. When he is not with you he enjoys exploring in his enclosed outdoor catio and napping or playing with his brother. Onyx is very out going and greets new people. He has the quietest meow and adorable “vampire fangs”. Both cats love kids and being carried and tolerate dogs that let them be. Onyx does have asthma that is very well controlled with his inhailer and some seasonal allergies also controlled with his omega supplements and ocasiobal baths which he tolerates fantasticly. He is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped , had several bi annual blood work panels run and has had three routine dentals. Tanzanite is the baby at 3 years old. Much like his brother Tanzanite is an absolute love and will cuddle and give kisses however he is more active and enjoys exploring his catio and the house quite a bit. He is a very vocal cat and likes to meow and talk to you. Loves playing with toys and forehead scratches. He enjoys being carried around and being held. Tanzanite tolerates dogs and loves kids but takes a little longer to warm up to new situations and is more Cautious at first. Tanzanite also has asthma but has only needed his inhailer once. He had one episode of stress induced urinary inflammation and has since been on a urinary care diet as a precaution. He is neutered, microchipped current on all vaccines and lab work and has had one routine dental. The cats will go to the new home with any of the supplies that their family wishes to take. Catio, cat tree , litter box furniture, enclosed litter boxes, shampoo, medication, hides and beds, toys, supplements, treats , cases of prescription food , litter , feliway defuser and refills, toys.
