Story
Fuzzy Bucket is 1 of 3 kittens born to a feral mom (Fur Bucket and Fluffy Bucket…available for adoption soon). Fuzzy is very independent but enjoys playing with other kitties and getting loves and snuggles on the couch. He has been raised with other kittens and adult cats. He really has taken a liking to the the adults and can be found following them around and seeking their attention. He would do good in a home with a young playful adult cat who is in need of a companion or a home with another kitten or with one of his siblings or friends from here. He would also be fine as an only cat, but having a friend would be prefered. Fuzzy Bucket has been health checked, altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. He will come with his medical records, new kitty carrier, baby blankie, dry food, variety of wet food, litter, new litter box if needed, treats, snacks, favorite toys, new toys, and whatever else he has claimed as his own while on vacation with us. If you are interesting in meeting Fuzzy bucket, please fill out our questionnaire. https://forms.wix.com/r/7207729348810375426

Story
Was found outside the door, so we took him in, but could never afford much for him. Hes extremely sweet, but even if we could afford him, my wife is allergic to cats. I love him so much, and he's never been outside since being a little kitten at our door, and has only been in contact with healthy vaccinated animals.

Story
Marmalade came to us from a hoarding situation. He is one of over 16+ kitties. He loves to hide. He was in a home with other cats and dogs, but they were left to fend for themselves for over 2 weeks, since their mommy became homeless. He is a little stressed right now and will need a safe loving home to decompress in. He has been with us for a little over a week now. The adoption fee is small just to recover his neuter. He has interacted with our 6 year old grand daughter so I think he would be good with kids, but hadn't had exposure before to my knowledge. He was recently neutered and it was estimated that he is 3 years old and almost 7 pounds. He has been with Butters since he joined our family. I would love for them to go together, but not required.

Gus is 12 years old. Incredibly sweet to people and very friendly in general. Took her in from a friend of mine but she doesn't seem to get along with other cats. Loves attention and cuddling and will isn't particular about diet at all.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tommy is a bit of a troublemaker. He doesn't play well with all cats. He's selective and prefers female cats.   Tommy is also an amazing escape artist, and we want him to be an indoor cat, so it will take a  diligent owner to make sure he doesn't run away. He is a very sweet boy, though, and will sit on your lap for pets, and he also loves to play with toys.  He needs an experienced owner because if he is messed with too much, he will fight back. Things like getting him into a carrier and relocating him by picking him up can be hard if you don't handle him calmly and quietly. Tommy deserves a home of his own. I believe the right person is out there for this handsome boy! He is neutered, vaccinated, tested negative to felv/fiv, and microchipped. Please fill out an application on the website of you would like to meet him.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:47 am

Story
Hi, I'm Vogue! But my closest friends call me "Hello Beautiful". I'm a sweet and social girl who loves the company of humans. I will greet you as soon as you walk in the room and I have the cutest meow that sounds like a little squeak. My favorite spot is in your lap where I will happily curl up as soon as you sit down and instantly start purring with your touch. You'll know I'm happy because I'll make air biscuits while we cuddle. And when I get really comfortable, I will stretch out real big in your lap and show you my belly for belly rubs. Yes, I do like belly rubs! But don't worry, I'm not overly needy and I don't always demand your attention. I'm also happy just hanging out close by or doing my own thing up on my cat tree.In addition to being a total love, I enjoy stalking and pouncing on the wand toy. I especially like when the humans hide it under the blanket thinking they're tricking me, but my super sleuthing skills find it every time! I have a gorgeous coat that will need regular brushing but no worries there because I like being brushed, pampered, and told how beautiful I am.I can't wait to start my happily ever after and find my forever family so come meet me at our adoption center to see if we're a match. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see me! We do require any family interested in meeting our cats to fill out a consultation form - this form helps us determine if the cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo without knowing the personality of the cat. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see me (or come and see me and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL cats are available to the first potential adopter who we feel is a good match, after meeting the cat.Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a - 2p, Wednesday 3p - 7p, Thursday 3p - 7p, Friday 10a - 2p, Saturday 10a - 4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
Dakota is a long-haired grey and white tuxedo sweetheart, who will swipe a treat right out from under anyone if given the chance. She is a sweet, shy, gentle, and reserved cat who enjoys the quiet life, and would love a forever home with other relaxed kitties or alone so long as she has a view with a window, and plenty of pillowy hiding spots around the house. She loves being talked to, playing with string or feathers, and sunbaths by the window. Dakota needs an extra special human who understands that she eats a special diet, and may be slow to open up. Found in a drainage pipe with two kittens covered in mud and with most of her teeth removed later due to dental disease (cured now), Dakota has fought very hard for her place in the world and would love to share it with you. If you are not fully certain about adoption, Dakota is also looking for a long-term foster family situation. Her diet and regular brushing would be so much more easily managed in a private home versus the shelter. Safe Haven would supply foster home with unlimited supply of her special food and cover any medical expenses. There is not an adoption fee for fostered animals from our shelter. Please reach out to us if interested in fostering beautiful Dakota.
