Story
Tiana is a very sweet and loving cat. She is a DLH calico with soft fur. She loves to be picked up and held and will put her arms around a person's neck. She is super affectionate and loves people and craves human attention. She is also playful and especially enjoys playing with interactive toys like the Cat Dancer. She makes a unique sound like a frog croaking, so she's named after Tiana in Disney's, The Princess and the Frog. Tiana does have FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but it’s not a big deal! With proper care, FIV-positive cats like Tiana can live long, healthy, and happy lives. What you need to know about FIV: FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus: It’s a slow-acting virus that can weaken a cat’s immune system over time, making them more susceptible to infections. How it’s transmitted: FIV is spread through deep bite wounds between cats. Casual contact like grooming, sharing food bowls, or playing does not spread the virus so Tiana can safely live with other friendly cats after proper introductions. FIV doesn’t spread to humans, dogs, or other non-feline pets. Lifespan: With regular vet care and a stable, indoor environment, FIV-positive cats like Tiana can live as long as FIV-negative cats. Symptoms: Many FIV-positive cats show no symptoms for years. When properly cared for, they often live healthy, normal lives. Care requirements: Keep Tiana indoors to reduce exposure to potential infections, feed her a high-quality diet, and schedule regular veterinary check-ups to monitor her health. Tiana is ready to be your sweet lap cat and fill your life with purrs and love. Are you ready to give this amazing girl the forever home she deserves? Come meet Tiana today—you’ll fall in love instantly! Approx. DOB: 3/10/21 If you would like to meet Tiana, please go to https://hart-az.org/hart-cats and fill out an application. If approved, we will contact you to set up a time for a meet and greet.

Story
Fuzzy Bucket is 1 of 3 kittens born to a feral mom (Fur Bucket and Fluffy Bucket…available for adoption soon). Fuzzy is very independent but enjoys playing with other kitties and getting loves and snuggles on the couch. He has been raised with other kittens and adult cats. He really has taken a liking to the the adults and can be found following them around and seeking their attention. He would do good in a home with a young playful adult cat who is in need of a companion or a home with another kitten or with one of his siblings or friends from here. He would also be fine as an only cat, but having a friend would be prefered. Fuzzy Bucket has been health checked, altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. He will come with his medical records, new kitty carrier, baby blankie, dry food, variety of wet food, litter, new litter box if needed, treats, snacks, favorite toys, new toys, and whatever else he has claimed as his own while on vacation with us. If you are interesting in meeting Fuzzy bucket, please fill out our questionnaire. https://forms.wix.com/r/7207729348810375426

Was found outside the door, so we took him in, but could never afford much for him. Hes extremely sweet, but even if we could afford him, my wife is allergic to cats. I love him so much, and he's never been outside since being a little kitten at our door, and has only been in contact with healthy vaccinated animals.

Story
Marmalade came to us from a hoarding situation. He is one of over 16+ kitties. He loves to hide. He was in a home with other cats and dogs, but they were left to fend for themselves for over 2 weeks, since their mommy became homeless. He is a little stressed right now and will need a safe loving home to decompress in. He has been with us for a little over a week now. The adoption fee is small just to recover his neuter. He has interacted with our 6 year old grand daughter so I think he would be good with kids, but hadn't had exposure before to my knowledge. He was recently neutered and it was estimated that he is 3 years old and almost 7 pounds. He has been with Butters since he joined our family. I would love for them to go together, but not required.

Story
Hallow was the cat of my late uncle. I took him in after he passed, but I already have 3 cats and cannot care for more safely. He is very friendly with people but seems to have trouble with trying to assert dominance over the other cats, which is leading to vet visits and trouble. I cannot continue to care for him. He would do best in single cat home.

Story
Greetings! I am an 8 1/2 year old, stunning princess who is extremely loving. I am quite the conversationalist and I have the most distinctive meow - a precious squeak, really - that will melt your heart. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes, but please don't let that deter you from considering me! My condition is relatively easy to manage, so please ask our adoption counselors about the insulin I receive twice a day. As I mentioned earlier, I am very interactive and will engage in conversation with you whenever you enter the room. I love to receive pets and will return your affection with gentle head bunts. I enjoy chasing the laser toy, playing with cat nip toys, and stalking the bird wand toy. What I love the most though, is lounging with you. I am a very chill kitty who cannot wait to be the queen of your castle! Everyone who knows me at the adoption center says that I'm a special girl with a beautiful soul. I hope that when we meet, you feel the same way so we can become soulmates! No appointments are necessary and you can come see us anytime we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our cats to fill out a consultation form - this form helps us determine if the cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo without knowing the personality of the cat. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL cats are available to the first potential adopter who we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a - 2p, Wednesday 3p - 7p, Thursday 3p - 7p, Friday 10a - 2p, Saturday 10a - 4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Special Needs: Having lost his left eye due to glaucoma and having limited vision in his right eye, Benson is mostly blind. A calm and quiet environment makes him feel comfortable and secure. Ideal Home: The perfect person (or family) for Benson would be one that: Other pets in the house: He would do best as an only pet. While he gets along with the other mellow male cats in his foster home, but would love to be an only pet so he can get all the attention. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello there, I'm Bourbon. I have a heart as warm as the drink I'm named after. I'm a mellow fellow who enjoys the simple pleasures of life. My favorite pastime is watching the world go by from a cozy window perch. I'm friendly and gentle, but I also value my independence. I'm loyal to those who earn my trust. I've been diagnosed with FIV, but don't let that scare you. It doesn't define me. I'm still the same loving cat, full of life and ready to share it with someone special. I have become bonded to my bestie Prince, we do everything together and help each other manage this world that can be a little scary! Adopt us, and you'll have loyal friends for life. FIV causes a lower immune system, but FIV kitties are fully capable of living long healthy lives! And, FIV positive and negative kitties can live together with no fear of transmission! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Have you ever dreamed of giving a loving home to your very own ‘aloof floof’?! Do you like your cats making you work to earn their affection? If you said yes, K2 is waiting to join your family! K2 was rescued as an older kitten and breaking those human fears has been challenging. He had dental disease and had to have all of his teeth removed but now he is a healthy boy. K2 is handsome and he knows it! He loves to be pet when eating, purring and leaning in to get love, but runs in fear any other time you seek him out. He is looking for a loving home, preferably with another mellow cat (he loves to snuggle other cats) and is looking for a quiet home with no kids or dogs. If he sounds like your perfect fit and you don’t mind love on “his terms”, please reach out. Story
Stripes is a bit skittish. He is friendly when it is quiet and calm. He is strictly an indoor cat. He was outside a couple of times and will hide behind a bush until you let him back in. He will likely sleep at your feet at night and under the bed during the day. He has lived in a home with 2 other cats and a dog. He is ok with kids as well but will avoid them if they are loud and rambunctious. Stripes is about 8 years old and has no health issues. Since he is a long hair he does have a tendency to get his fur knotted up and he will pull out tuffs of his fur as he grooms himself. He is declawed in the front. Unfortunately I am getting married and my fiances dogs do not tolerate cats.
