Story
I'm a beautiful, petite 5-year-old female silver/gray kitty. I'm a very sweet, loving, and gentle girl. I get along great with other cats and dogs as well. I had a wonderful home for many years, but very sadly my owner became ill and recently passed away. That's why I'm in need of another loving home to spend the rest of my life. I am a joy to be around. I'm spayed, tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV (negative), current on my vaccines and micro chipped. I'm an indoor only cat. I'm litter box trained and so very well behaved. If you are looking for 2 amazing cats, please consider adopting my best feline friend, Michael, as well. My adoption fee is $95 which helps cover just some of my vet expenses. Please contact Carrie On Rescue at carrieonrescuers@hotmail.com or call them at (480) 603-7680 if you have any questions or to request an application.

Story
Was found outside the door, so we took him in, but could never afford much for him. Hes extremely sweet, but even if we could afford him, my wife is allergic to cats. I love him so much, and he's never been outside since being a little kitten at our door, and has only been in contact with healthy vaccinated animals.

Story
Marmalade came to us from a hoarding situation. He is one of over 16+ kitties. He loves to hide. He was in a home with other cats and dogs, but they were left to fend for themselves for over 2 weeks, since their mommy became homeless. He is a little stressed right now and will need a safe loving home to decompress in. He has been with us for a little over a week now. The adoption fee is small just to recover his neuter. He has interacted with our 6 year old grand daughter so I think he would be good with kids, but hadn't had exposure before to my knowledge. He was recently neutered and it was estimated that he is 3 years old and almost 7 pounds. He has been with Butters since he joined our family. I would love for them to go together, but not required.

Story
Hi! Hallow was a stray I found a little while back. I already have 3 cats, and while he gets along great with them, 4 is too many cats for my partner and I. He gets along with other cats, but we are not able to give all of them the proper care and attention they need. I had him checked for a microchip, which he does not have. I don't know his shots status. He is intact. He seems to get along fine with other cats, and he is very affectionate and cuddly. I think he'd do better in a home with just himself or possibly another cat. I don't know how he is with dogs as we do not have any. I cannot keep him for long but I don't wanna use a pound if I don't have to.

Story
moe is so sweet and loves pets and scratches. he goes crazy for his favorite treats. hes been living with me for 3 weeks but has warmed up me quite a bit. he is a 7-8 year old feral rescue. came from a colony of about 20 other cats. i think he was an indoor-outdoor cat and whoever used to care for him moved and left him behind. he wasnt able to survive in the colony. hes been treated for the ear mites that left open wounds on his ears. hes been neutered and had the necessary vaccines. no microchip present. would love a quiet and peaceful home with no dogs. he does not like my dogs which is why i cant keep him. he hides a lot, gets jumpy and scared easily. i believe this behavior will remedy once he gets adjusted to a long term situation, he is showing steady progress in socialization. he is fully litter trained and has never gone outside of the litter box. he will occasionally give a warning hiss if he feels threatened. he is scared and just needs love, patience and consistency ♡

Story
Long story short he’s a shelter cat I was looking after while my brothers ex girlfriend got her life together. It’s been over a year and it’s very clear she’s not coming back for him and has me blocked on everything so I cannot give him back though she got a new kitten anyway so I don’t think she wants him. I like cats I just don’t want to be responsible and take care of them. I have a dog and they get a long fine. He’s a good cat kinda of a snuggler when he wants to be but I don’t think I can care for him much longer. Probably about six I’m not sure I never got any papers for vaccines and stuff. He’s sort of timid and likes to hide like most cats he sneezes a lot too lol it’s cute. I have asked friends, family, neighbors and coworkers no one I know is really in the market for a cat. I even tried to get him into a couple of those no kill shelters but they always say they are at capacity. He just needs a good home

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet our wonderful foster cat, Benson! Benson is a handsome 3.5 to 5-year-old cat with gorgeous black and brown long fur. He has a great purr that will melt your heart. Benson is a friendly and loving cat who will make a wonderful addition to the right home.   It's important to note that Benson is mostly blind. He had his left eye removed due to painful glaucoma and has limited vision in his right eye. He needs a special person or family who can provide a safe and secure environment to help him navigate his surroundings.   Benson was found stuck at the bottom of our neighbor’s empty pool. Due to his poor vision, he most likely fell into the pool and couldn’t figure a way out. It’s a good thing he was found!  When we first approached him, he was scared and a bit dirty. We trapped him and got him to a safe place in our home. He was hungry and thirsty and happy to get the attention he needed. Benson would be fine as an only pet and may prefer that. He may also be ok with having a very calm cat friend. While he doesn’t like most of our foster cats, he doesn’t seem to mind our cat named Zeb. Zeb is one of those fellows that is just chill and enjoys life. So, it’s possible, if you have a cat like Zeb, that Benson would be happy to have a cat companion.  Benson's favorite toy is string and it's the only toy he has played with in our home thus far. He’d love for you to take some time playing with him to see what toys he might enjoy.  We have discovered that Benson is prone to anxiety and can become agitated when he hears loud noises or when people move too quickly. As a result, he would do best in a calm and quiet home with patient people who can provide a stable and predictable environment. This would obviously rule out young children since they love to get the zoomies! When Benson is first getting to know his new surroundings in your home, he will need you to be gentle with him. With limited sight, it will take time for him to feel comfortable and secure by learning his surroundings. With patience and understanding, he will become a happy and content cat who loves being petted and playing with his toys. When we bring Benson’s food to him, we make a tinging noise on the bowl by tapping on it. He now knows when it’s time to eat and can easily find his food bowl. Benson is up-to-date on all his vaccinations and is neutered and chipped. He is also litter box trained. He has some eye drops that have been prescribed and we can discuss that during our conversation with you.  If you're looking for a handsome cat who needs a little extra care and attention, please consider Benson. He would make a wonderful addition to any home with owners who are willing to let him become comfortable on his own terms and can provide a safe and secure environment where he can play with his beloved string. Oh, and he absolutely loves to be brushed. Thank you for considering our special foster cat! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    Our adoption fee is $175       If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Cat Interest Form on AZRAIN.ORG and, if you are selected as a prospective adopter, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet. Thank you for considering rescuing an animal in need!     July 5, 2024, 7:57 pm
