Story
Hi, I'm Vogue! But my closest friends call me "Hello Beautiful". I'm a sweet and social girl who loves the company of humans. I will greet you as soon as you walk in the room and I have the cutest meow that sounds like a little squeak. My favorite spot is in your lap where I will happily curl up as soon as you sit down and instantly start purring with your touch. You'll know I'm happy because I'll make air biscuits while we cuddle. And when I get really comfortable, I will stretch out real big in your lap and show you my belly for belly rubs. Yes, I do like belly rubs! But don't worry, I'm not overly needy and I don't always demand your attention. I'm also happy just hanging out close by or doing my own thing up on my cat tree.In addition to being a total love, I enjoy stalking and pouncing on the wand toy. I especially like when the humans hide it under the blanket thinking they're tricking me, but my super sleuthing skills find it every time! I have a gorgeous coat that will need regular brushing but no worries there because I like being brushed, pampered, and told how beautiful I am.I can't wait to start my happily ever after and find my forever family so come meet me at our adoption center to see if we're a match. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see me! We do require any family interested in meeting our cats to fill out a consultation form - this form helps us determine if the cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo without knowing the personality of the cat. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see me (or come and see me and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL cats are available to the first potential adopter who we feel is a good match, after meeting the cat.Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a - 2p, Wednesday 3p - 7p, Thursday 3p - 7p, Friday 10a - 2p, Saturday 10a - 4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
Greetings! I am a stunning princess who is extremely loving. I am quite the conversationalist and I have the most distinctive meow - a precious squeak, really - that will melt your heart. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes, but please don't let that deter you from considering me! My condition is relatively easy to manage, so please ask our adoption counselors about the insulin I receive twice a day. As I mentioned earlier, I am very interactive and will engage in conversation with you whenever you enter the room. I love to receive pets and will return your affection with gentle head bunts. I enjoy chasing the laser toy, playing with cat nip toys, and stalking the bird wand toy. What I love the most though, is lounging with you. I am a very chill kitty who cannot wait to be the queen of your castle! Everyone who knows me at the adoption center says that I'm a special girl with a beautiful soul. I hope that when we meet, you feel the same way so we can become soulmates! Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see me! Story
Nala is a super sweet young cat at about 7 months old. She is content but very shy and tends to hide. She is super fluffy but doesn’t shed too much. She enjoys playing with slinkies and making biscuits on you. She has some trauma related to dogs and young children so a quieter home would be ideal. Okay to be with other cats or alone. She has never been outside before. Nala really just needs someone to bring her out of her shell and provide a stable life. Bonus: she is great at burying her business so her litter smells like nothing.

Story
Was found outside the door, so we took him in, but could never afford much for him. Hes extremely sweet, but even if we could afford him, my wife is allergic to cats. I love him so much, and he's never been outside since being a little kitten at our door, and has only been in contact with healthy vaccinated animals.

Story
Marmalade came to us from a hoarding situation. He is one of over 16+ kitties. He loves to hide. He was in a home with other cats and dogs, but they were left to fend for themselves for over 2 weeks, since their mommy became homeless. He is a little stressed right now and will need a safe loving home to decompress in. He has been with us for a little over a week now. The adoption fee is small just to recover his neuter. He has interacted with our 6 year old grand daughter so I think he would be good with kids, but hadn't had exposure before to my knowledge. He was recently neutered and it was estimated that he is 3 years old and almost 7 pounds. He has been with Butters since he joined our family. I would love for them to go together, but not required.

Story
Fuzzy Bucket is 1 of 3 kittens born to a feral mom (Fur Bucket and Fluffy Bucket…available for adoption soon). Fuzzy is very independent but enjoys playing with other kitties and getting loves and snuggles on the couch. He has been raised with other kittens and adult cats. He really has taken a liking to the the adults and can be found following them around and seeking their attention. He would do good in a home with a young playful adult cat who is in need of a companion or a home with another kitten or with one of his siblings or friends from here. He would also be fine as an only cat, but having a friend would be prefered. Fuzzy Bucket has been health checked, altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. He will come with his medical records, new kitty carrier, baby blankie, dry food, variety of wet food, litter, new litter box if needed, treats, snacks, favorite toys, new toys, and whatever else he has claimed as his own while on vacation with us. If you are interesting in meeting Fuzzy bucket, please fill out our questionnaire. https://forms.wix.com/r/7207729348810375426

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello there, I'm Bourbon. I have a heart as warm as the drink I'm named after. I'm a mellow fellow who enjoys the simple pleasures of life. My favorite pastime is watching the world go by from a cozy window perch. I'm friendly and gentle, but I also value my independence. I'm loyal to those who earn my trust. I've been diagnosed with FIV, but don't let that scare you. It doesn't define me. I'm still the same loving cat, full of life and ready to share it with someone special. I have become bonded to my bestie Prince, we do everything together and help each other manage this world that can be a little scary! Adopt us, and you'll have loyal friends for life. FIV causes a lower immune system, but FIV kitties are fully capable of living long healthy lives! And, FIV positive and negative kitties can live together with no fear of transmission! Ask us if you have questions about FIV.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    Our adoption fee is $175       If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Cat Interest Form on AZRAIN.ORG and, if you are selected as a prospective adopter, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet.
