Domestic Longhair kittens & cats in Alaska

Hi my name is Celia and I’m a princess looking for my forever home. I love my food especially the wet food but my foster mom gives me both. I’m super sweet and pretty and definitely have a mind of my own but if you give me head scratches and pet me I’ll purr away for you. However, I might head butt you if you stop petting me before I’m ready for you to stop. I’m not a huge fan of being held but if you’re nice about it I’ll tolerate it for awhile. I love high places for looking down. One time after I was trapped far away in Dutch Harbor, I spent quite a long time in the ceiling of the cop shop. All the people just looked up and shook their head. It was hilarious. For me. They didn't seem to be having that much fun. So I don't do that anymore. Now I just hang out at the top of the cat tree and come down to chase the laser lights which is so much fun. I’m still a little shy despite my royalty so I really need a family who will love me and be patient while I explore and get used to you. I love my foster sisters although the babies can be a little annoying at times. The dog in the house is scared of us so he avoids us as much as possible and I’m fine with that. I’m the prettiest kitty you’ll ever get. Some people say I look just like a Maine Coon. I'm about 6 months old and I'm ready to be spoiled in my forever home. Scooter! This little guy will “scoot” his way right into your heart! His little kitty "coos" and chill attitude bring a special addition to the home. Scooter loves playing with toys and enjoys snuggling up close. Despite being born with a spinal deformity, he shows little limitations when it comes to climbing the cat tower or jumping into bed at night. He has been checked by the vet and has been given the all-clear. He may experience some arthritis later in life and would benefit from a supplement to help with any joint pain. He can move quicker than you can blink when he gets his kitty zoomies or hears the treat container shake. Scooter is so sweet and handsome. He uses a litter box with no concerns and loves his morning wet food and kibble throughout the day. He plays like he’s part of the pack with all 3 dogs and the other cat. He would do best with a kitty friend, and nice dogs are just fine too! He does great with gentle children too. A family that has the time to give him extra love and attention is a must. Since he does drag/scoot on his back leg’s majority of the time gets a quick bath for his backside on a weekly basis which he is very good about. If his new home doesn’t have carpet, rugs will need to be provided for him so he can get around the house easily. He deserves to be able to spend some time outside in the fresh air and sunshine, but he will need a home with a safe outdoor enclosure or he will need to supervised all the time he is outside! These beautiful girls are the sweetest. But you wouldn't know that by the names their former humans picked for them! Malus (black and white) and Spite (orange and white) are both 7 years old loving ladies that came from the same home, yet each has their own distinctive personality. Both are complete cuddle bugs; but Malus will take her time warming up to you. Spite, on the other hand, will demand immediate attention from you. Malus will devour any food, whereas Spite has a more sensitive stomach. Malus has shorter elegant hair. Spite is long haired and fluffy. These two don’t cuddle with each other, but they will happily cozy up on either side of you and make you into a sandwich. They enjoy quiet time, but are happy to socialize if there is activity in the house. Both are fine with dogs and kids. And they would be contented to be adopted together. But it also seems that they are not totally attached to each other and would be fine in different homes where they get all the attention from the family. Oreo is an angel! She loves attention and gives so much love with all her heart! And she wants just as much love back too! Being combed is one of her favorite joys in life, along with Fancy Feast canned pate food! With a long coat like hers loving the comb is a great thing! This darling sweet girl is a talker and will let you know her desires with gentle head butts. Cat scratchers or a nice cat tree is a must as she is a professional at keeping her nails trimmed and sharp. There is a lot of killing of toy mice to be done! Due to past trauma, she doesn’t like being picked up and no fast hand movements above or near her head. If she doesn’t like something she will give a warning nibble, but never bites! Slow and steady wins the race with her. She does not like other cats but is good with the calm friendly dog in her foster home. She will need a quieter home with no young children. Oreo does love cuddling in your lap, a soft bed to lounge, and gentle scritches and scratches. Being around 8 years old sunbathing in the yard would be very appreciated and loved by her. Bibi and Tasha--they are a pair! These adorable kitties met in a foster home and they were immediate friends. Bibi had been in the foster home as the only kitty for a while. And since he came from a little colony of cats, he was totally baffled about how to BE as the only cat. He was scared of the world. Then came Tasha. And Bibi went from hissing/swiping to accepting pets, meowing/trilling, and is learning by watching Tasha that humans are not so scary! The kitties were instant pals, and they have great fun playing and racing around the house. Although we didn't think they needed to be adopted together, they are so happy together that we hope some kind family will give them both a home. Bibi is a very handsome fellow with a striking black and white coat. This is his first time living in a house, and he has really taken a liking to the comforts of indoor living, but is still skeptical of the other occupants (humans). He is still shy and skittish, but now regularly comes out from his hiding place in the cabinet to observe the activities of the house. He loves to play with catnip mice and feather toys - he knows the sound of the toy drawer and will come running as soon as he hears it! He has a knack for hunting and will take care of your mouse problem before you even knew one moved in. While he is not yet ready to sit next to you on the couch, he may join you for a movie (at a safe distance). He is particularly interested in Steve Martin films, so clearly this is a cat with good sense of humor. His ideal foster home would be patient as Bibi gets acclimated to living with people. We’re guessing he is 2-3 years old. Tasha (listed separately) has an all-black coat and is the definition of a move in ready cat. She befriended everyone in the house within the first day and took no time at all to make herself at home. She is the hostess with the mostest - she will greet your guests, check on their drinks, join you for dinner, and attempt to taste test whatever comes out of the kitchen (mostly unsuccessfully). She is very brave - she is not bothered by the doorbell or the dogs and comes running to investigate as soon as she hears the vacuum. Tasha is young, a teenager, certainly not over a year. She has a lot of energy! These two became such fast friends that we’d love for them to be adopted together. Tasha will thrive in any environment, but we think Bibi would do best in a quieter home where everybody can respect his personal space when he isn’t feeling social (probably no small children). Lynx is that special one of a kind guy! He instantly lights up a room with his presence and makes everyone feel comfortable just like family! He is like the great Uncle of the family ready to share meowed stories of his past around the warm flickering fireplace. Lynx is a big guy weighing around 16 pounds! and has a heart of gold. He adores the other cats, especially the kittens which he grooms all the time and watches over them as they play. To keep him in tip top shape he does require a special diet that he loves immensely. Boy does he LOVE his food. After being a hungry stray on the streets, he is not picky about his food at all. Due to an old injury, he sometimes has a slight limp in his right hind leg, but it doesn’t seem to bother him. He can still perform those acrobatic leaps in the air and chasing after the balls across the hardwood floors. Lynx is a talker. If you’re wanting a vocal cat, he is your guy. He loves his people and is content to sit on the couch or bask in the sun. He is estimated to be 5-6 years old. We discovered that he doesn’t like dogs at all so he must go to a home with no dogs.
