I have had her about almost 2 years and she’s the most loving cat. I just have a very busy schedule and can’t give her the time she deserves. She loves snuggling. She loves having lots of cat toys and looking out of the window.

Story
Hi. My name is George....like George Costanza, but I am much sweeter. My raccoon tail is my trademark, and playing is my love language. I love pouncing on wand toys and scratching posts, and once I'm tuckered out from playing, I am a cuddle bug who welcomes all the pets. PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT adopt a single kitten into a home with no other cats unless it states in their listing that they are not good with cats and need to be an only cat. We prefer our little kittens are adopted in pairs or at least have another cat in the home to bond with. All of our rescues are FeLV/FIV tested, given age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped! Our adoption fee is $125 no matter age or breed. Visit Alabama's only nonprofit cat lounge, Cattyshack, Inc. Thursday-Saturday! Reservations required! cattyshackhsv.org @cattyshackhsv #rescueloungeadopt

Story
This is Leonardo of the Ninja Turtle litter. He is a very shy and sweet kitty that is available for adoption after December 11, but if you live in or around Huntsville, AL, ask about our foster-to-adopt program in the "additional comments" section on the application! PLEASE NOTE: We need applicants to understand that he came to us absolutely terrified of humans, but after 3 weeks, is now tolerating being held for short periods and I think we even got a purr out of him! But we will be looking for a very patient and experienced adopter that will give him the time he needs to acclimate and trust. He's done really well with his sister, April, being around but he may do even better if he is with another kitty in a home that is more social and outgoing. We also need adopters to be aware that he may have a condition called Manx syndrome. See, he has no tail at all, zero, nada, and sometimes this will mess up the nerves in the backend, making it so they can't always tell when they have to... well... poop. He has not been diagnosed with this condition by a vet, and we are hoping once his tummy feels better, the problem will be resolved, but we are putting this out here in the wide open in case you are interesting in doing foster-to-adopt.

Story
Joshua and his sisters, Joanna and Judith came to rescue having been found under a tree during a thunderstorm. Joshua was almost unresponsive and needed immediate medical care. While in rescue, this poor little guy has struggled with maintaining his weight and staying hydrated. Early in life, he was diagnosed with seizure disorder, but happily he is being weaned from his anti-seizure medication and showing signs of outgrowing his condition. Joshua is a quirky lil guy. When overstimulated or stressed, he becomes overwhelmed. He has kitty OCD, which makes him highly focused on daily routines and habits. You can learn more about his special story on our Kitty Korner Blog! But given all of that, Joshua is simply the sweetest lil guy and everyone absolutely adores him, especially those who share his psychological and emotional challenges. Because inside, they know he is just trying to understand this big, confusing world. Joshua is a long-haired tuxedo (almost an identical twin to his sister Judith). He is going to be a real heart breaker when he gets older.
