Meet Honka Tonka Burnin’ Love & Elise – the duo you didn’t know you needed, but absolutely can’t live without.Honka Tonka Burnin’ Love is a sweet, independent soul with a soft spot for his people. In the home, he’s low-key and easygoing—usually found snoozing in his favorite spot or gently placing his head in your lap when he’s ready for some love. He’s incredibly tolerant, enjoys affection, and is the kind of dog who settles in quickly and makes himself right at home.Out on walks, his personality shines a little brighter. He loves his adventures and will jump for joy the moment you grab the leash. He walks nicely most of the time, though he can get a bit excited and pull when he spots other dogs or people. He’s more of a “look but don’t touch (yet)” kind of guy on leash, but with guidance and continued training, he has all the potential to improve.He’s quiet overall, crate trained, and respectful in the home—no destructive habits and only a couple minor accidents reported. He sleeps well through the night, often choosing cozy spots like the stairs or near his kennel. While he’s not much of a swimmer, he enjoys splashing around in shallow water.Honka Tonka Burnin’ Love does best with slow introductions to other dogs. He’s currently living successfully with a selective female dog and takes corrections well, showing he can be respectful with clear boundaries. His play style can start off a little enthusiastic, so structure is key.And then there’s Elise—his feline best friend. While Honka Tonka Burnin’ Love is still figuring out how to play with people, he’s already mastered the art of friendship with his kitten companion. The two share a special bond, making them the perfect pair for a home ready to welcome both canine and feline love.Elise brings her own charm to the mix, helping balance out his playful curiosity with a touch of feline grace. Together, they’re equal parts heartwarming and entertaining.Both are available for adoption now.
