Story
Walter is a good dog. He’s going on 7 years old and has lived with me since he was a puppy. He loves humans and loves attention. He wants to be with you 24-7, will follow you around the house and sit next to you all day long. He lives with just me and my cat. I tried to rehome him prior when I developed allergies and then just lived with it but now work is making me come into the office and he doesn’t deserve to be in a crate for 12-15 hours a day. It’s not fair. I’d really need to find someone who will love him and be home.

Meet Reuben – the Gentle Giant in Recovery Reuben is a two-year-old male Mastiff who is currently on a journey to healing, hope, and a forever home. This sweet boy came to us extremely underweight and suffering from several skin infections, but despite everything he’s been through, Reuben’s spirit remains gentle and full of love. He’s been nothing but kind to everyone he meets—people, dogs, and even the vet staff. Reuben gets along wonderfully with both male and female dogs in our care and shows a calm, respectful demeanor in all his interactions. He rides well in the car and is currently working on perfecting his leash skills. While Reuben still has some healing to do, he’s gaining weight, receiving the medical care he needs, and soaking up all the love he can. With a little time and a lot of love, this gentle giant will be ready to find the forever family he’s always deserved.
