Adoption Fee: $750 Meet Casserole – The Sweetest Snuggle Bug You’ll Ever Meet With a name as cozy as a home-cooked meal, Casserole is just as warm, comforting, and full of love. This 1 year old Dogue de Bordeaux weighs around 60 pounds, though she’s still filling out with the help of good food and plenty of TLC in her foster home. Rescued from the shelter, she quickly became a favorite among everyone who met her—because how could you not fall in love with a dog this sweet? A Gentle, Mellow Companion Casserole may have been a little shy when she first arrived, but it didn’t take long for her to discover the joys of home life. Within days, she blossomed into the most devoted, loving companion, following her foster from room to room, always wanting to be near her people. She’s a cuddler at heart—not demanding, just always ready to snuggle up beside you, whether it’s on the couch, at your feet, or resting her head in your lap. She’s got the perfect balance of playful and relaxed. She enjoys her daily walks (whether it’s a short one or a long 5K adventure) and is always patient, matching her pace with her senior dog friend. But once the walk is over? She’s all about lounging and soaking up the family time. She’s happy just hanging out in the living room, watching the day go by with her people nearby. The Perfect House Guest Casserole has impeccable manners. She’s housetrained, crate-trained at night, and never chews on things she shouldn’t. She doesn’t dig, doesn’t jump, and only barks on rare occasions. Despite her love of food, she has the most polite eating habits—you won’t find her counter-surfing or trying to steal a bite from her foster sibling’s homemade meals. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and respects the space of her senior Labrador foster brother. While she hasn’t met any cats, she’s shown no interest in chasing the free-ranging chickens at her foster home, suggesting she’d likely be just as gentle with feline friends. What Casserole is Looking For Casserole would thrive in a loving home where she can be part of the family. She’d love a yard to stretch her legs in and people who enjoy cuddles as much as she does. She’s the kind of dog who will make every day brighter—a loyal, loving companion who will always be by your side. If you’re looking for a dog with a heart of gold, a gentle soul, and the sweetest cuddles, Casserole is waiting to meet you. Could she be the missing piece to your family?Casserole is an option for a home that has vast or little experience. If there are children they need to be over the age of 5.February 10, 2025, 6:26 pm
