Story
Seeking a good home for our Dogo Argentino. Wonderful dog. All heart. House trained. Loves cats and fellow dogs. Female. 3 years old. Fixed. Sadly, she is deaf. No papers. Loves to run and take long walks. Extremely loving. Leash trained and socialized. Can be taken off leash and allowed to run. She never leaves her owner behind. Well trained but like all Dogos she can be stubborn at times. Requires someone who understands the breed. Lots of energy with a happy go lucky disposition. Full of joy!!! I've taken a new position and she is not getting all the love and attention she deserves. We simply want to ensure she finds a good safe loving forever home.

Story
We adopted Kilo from a friend in California; he was a rescue pup in really poor condition when we first got him. Over time, he began to gain weight and grow more comfortable with us. Initially, he was scared, but as we settled into Virginia, he still seemed uncertain around us for a while. Now, he's full of energy and very playful. We never knew his exact birthday, so we decided to celebrate it on October 11, 2023, the day we brought him home. I would love to find him a new home where he can receive the attention and care he deserves.

Chico is an amazing family dog and protector. He needs open yard/field or an active owner. I would let him run while I ride my bicycle. We would do 1-3 miles twice a day. He is a teddy bear and ALL muscle. Please contact me with any questions.

Story
I got Ace from a breeder in Silver Spring last year in August. He’s a purebred dogo argentino but is deaf. Hes a very sweet dog who has a lot of energy with other dogs but is kind and loving. Ace is a year and a half and definitely still has puppy energy. He will need someone who is willing to put in the time to work with him in his new home. He’s very smart and can learn quick. I would keep him myself, but unfortunately not longer have the funds to keep him and properly train him

Story
Kodak is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Kodak (Koko for short) is quick to steal your heart with his puppy eyes. He is a dog who loves the company of people for an overdose of pets and belly rubs, and will seemingly begin to melt into your hands when you're giving them to him. When it's time for some activity, Kodak loves a good walk. He especially loves to keep his nose to the ground to explore, and would love either a backyard or someone who will take him on long walks to take in all the smells. He seems completely potty trained as far as his foster can tell, and has not had any accidents in the house or his crate. Kodak is an easy going guy, he is happy to hang around by himself but will get up to show you how excited he is to see you! He loves a good sniffari adventure and will wait politely by the door until you are ready to leave! On days when you can't be giving him attention, Kodak has done well in his crate and loves a good nap on a soft bed. Kodak can get a little nervous around other dogs, and needs a slow introduction when meeting them. However, he is doing well with the resident dog at his foster home now that they've become accustomed to each other, and they even play the occasional game of tug-of-war with some toys. He's great with meeting new humans too, but we are working on him not jumping since he's just so excited to meet new people, and he also can pull on his leash when he's excited about his walk. Koko would add a ton of love and happiness to any family looking for a furry friend, so reach out to meet Koko today! ATTRIBUTES: Kodak has done well in foster with other dogs but requires a slow introduction with dogs. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained.
