Story
Hi! I'm Diesel! I'm an approximately 2 year old, male, Dogo Argentino who weighs around 83 lbs. I was surrendered on 08/30/2024 because my owners could no longer care for me. I am a lovable giant who enjoys the company of people and other dogs. I walk well on a leash and know a few basic commands. I love big hugs and am very gentle. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on basic boosters and heartworm negative. If you are interested in making me the newest member of your home, please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. November 6, 2024, 7:31 pm

Story
Pearl is a treasure, but you won't have to crack open a clam to get her! Pearl is such a sweet, friendly girl. She loves people of all shapes and sizes. She gets along great with other big dogs, and wants to wrestle and rough house! She'll even chase a laser pointer! She's interested in, but not aggressive towards cats. She likes children, and gets very excited around them, so as long as an adult is supervising everyone will have a good time. She loves a walk or a game of catch just as much as she loves a snuggle. She also loves food! Her food, your food, the cat's food... She'll do anything for a treat! She can be your get-up-and-go buddy or your fellow couch potato. Her affable, easy-going nature would make her at home with just about any family, big or small. She's somehow able to snuggle up to you without feeling like she's being pushy about it - a head laid gently on your thigh, a paw just touching you as she stretches until she can find a chance to creep closer. Watching her eyes close in contentment as you gently pet her head while she drifts off to sleep will become a treasured pastime when she's your girl. Adopt Pearl today! You do not want to miss out on this dog, cat, and kid friendly pup! All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/ . Story
Max has never had a belly rub he didn’t like!   He also enjoys lounging in the sun, gently playing with his stuffies, and daily walks (but isn’t interested in being anyone’s running buddy- we feel  ya Max!)   Car rides are his favorite- especially when he gets to ride shotgun!  Max has a silly personality that really shines once you get to know him!  While Max takes correction well, he’ll require an adopter who will let him know he’s not the boss.  Give him an inch, and he’ll take a foot ( can you blame him though?!) Max is extremely food motivated and will never turned down a meal or treat.  He will even dance for his dinner! He  is currently being fostered by a family  with two female resident dogs, a cat (who he loves and secretly has a crush on), and two older kiddos (8 and 12 years old).  Since tiny humans can be super unpredictable, we recommend older kids for  Max. A meet-and -greet is required if you already have pups – Max loves all the attention! He is house-trained, crate-trained, neutered,  microchipped, current on  his vaccinations, 4-5 years old, and  weighs 65 lbs. Email info@rockwallpets.com to meet this big ole goofball!   November 4, 2024, 9:40 pm

Story
Meet Bubs! This sweet boy is about 2-years old and weighs in at around 44 pounds. He is THE sweetest guy with so much love to give! Bubs enjoys playing with other dogs (don’t know how he is with cats), and he picks up routines quickly! While Bubs gets along well with other dogs, he tends to become possessive of his owner when sharing a home with them. He would thrive best as the only dog in the household, where he can enjoy all the love and attention for himself. He already knows how to sit and is house-trained. Bubs does incredibly well in his crate and rarely barks at all. He absolutely loves to be around people and is an expert cuddler. Bubs is extremely gentle with everyone he meets and would love to find his forever home! He is current on his vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. Contact info@rockwallpets.com for more info or to arrange a meet and greet! November 11, 2024, 8:27 am
