Story
Memphis is a big, goofy, happy boy who is SO HAPPY in a home. How is this for the greatest description of a dog ever: "he's a polite cuddle bug whose love languages are physical touch, words of affirmation, and blueberries"? Who doesn't want THIS guy in their life?  He is a good boy who will sit for a treat and can be entertained for a good while with a nice chew bone. He's potty trained, walks well on leash, and enjoys to romp with dogs around his size.  Memphis was rescued after he landed in a shelter in a small Texas town, emaciated and near death. After a veterinary evaluation, it was learned that Memphis had a ticke-borne illness, which was slowly killing him. Thankfully, once he got the medications and care he needed he made a FULL recovery! He’s now happy and healthy!  Memphis loves his walks and he’d love a home that enjoys taking a dog on hikes and other fun adventures. He is a nature watcher/lover as well! He thinks the sounds and views outside are wonderful to sit and absorb (but be careful with little critters as he does love chasing squirrels etc).  We believe Memphis may be part Doggo Argentino which means he is one of our few leggy dogs that will have zero problems navigating a home with stairs. He's a bigger boy excited to get to be a 'kid,' so no little kiddos he can knock over accidentally, and no small dogs or kitty cats, please. Those little ones are just too tempting to play with!

Story
Elastigirl is more than just a dog -- she's a clever, courageous, and cuddly superhero on a mission to find her forever sidekick! This incredible girl thrives in a calm, adult-only home (her superhero headquarters) where she can help save the day, one cuddle at a time. Superpowers: - Stealth Snuggler: Known to infiltrate blanket forts and cozy couches at lightning speed! - Master Detective: With her sharp nose and curiosity, she'll sniff out every inch of the neighborhood on long walks. - Mind Reader: She knows the moment you open a jar of peanut butter and will give you a perfect paw shake in return for a taste! Secret Talents: Elastigirl is housetrained and can hold down the fort when left alone for long stretches. She's super treat-motivated and already knows "sit, "stay, and can give you a left or right paw to help out with washing her paws (or just for fun!). She might take a bit to warm up to new faces, but once she does, she's the sweetest, most loyal teammate you could ask for. Hero's Lair Requirements: Elastigirl is looking for a quiet, low-traffic home base where she can relax between her adventures. She's content to be your one-and-only, but could also share her home with another well-matched pup. If you're someone who appreciates a little excitement and a lot of love, she'll be right by your side, ready to save the day (and snuggle up after)!
