Dennis the menace was a pretty cute kid. Therefore I am cute too! I am an adult, with puppy-like exuberance for life and food! I arrived at the rescue with my wife (Dee Dee) and our kid (Donna) after being left in our backyard when our "family" moved. Can you imagine? I gave them 3 years of devotion, and they just leave me like an old newspaper..... So, enough about my sorted past, let's look at my BRIGHT FUTURE!!! I am a handsome guy, full of love for life. I love female dogs, male dogs are more challenging because I am an alpha sort of dog, with the females I am fine- even dominant females like my Dee Dee. I am a good 60lbs, I'm such a big boy who makes for great cuddles! I am a good protector of your home and my people. I won't let those pesky neighbors over, unless you invite them ;) I have lots of fun running and playing and I would be a great outdoor adventure buddy! Let's get on the trails and go! Dennis can only be adopted in the local area. Local adoption fee is $200.

Meet November!  Miss November is ready to find her forever home. Novie is a beautiful boxer and mountain cur mix, with an estimated birthday of 12/01/2020. November came to us as a scared and skinny stray who just wanted some love, and she blossomed in our care. She has come up to a healthier weight, and is showing us what a social butterfly she can be! Novie has become a big lovebug, she is all happy smiles and butt wiggles, and has never met someone she didn't love. She does very well with other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. Meet Apollo, formerly known as Doozy.   Apollo arrived at our shelter as a stray alongside his siblings and was soon after  adopted.    However, we received a call from an animal control facility informing us that Apollo had been in their care and had no luck getting in contact with his owner.    As a result, Apollo has returned to our shelter and after multiple attempts to contact his mom, Apollo is now in search of a permanent home.    Apollo is a 47-pound, 31-flavored mix, with an estimated birthday of late 2022. This handsome boy  has an extremely outgoing personality. He absolutely loves everyone he encounters, dogs, cats, and humans. He has been socialized with large groups of kids such as Girl Scouts, 4-H, 1st graders,etc and has shown particular love for children.   Apollo's friendly nature would make him an ideal companion for any household. He walks well on a leash, is crate-trained, uses the outdoor area of his kennel for potty breaks, and has mastered commands such as sit, shake, and lay down. Apollo enjoys anything peanutbutter, playing fetch, going for car rides, playing with his friends, and snuggling up for cuddles.   He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, making his adoption fee 175.
