Story
Chief was surrendered to the shelter. He is friendly towards dogs and children. He has never been around cats, chickens, or livestock. Chief was housetrained and would whine at the door to go outside. He was also crate trained. His favorite thing to do is dig for moles! He loves to dig in general and hide his bones. He is not picky with toys- anything will do… but he would prefer hunting for moles over playing with toys any day. He also enjoys going for walks and going hunting. Chief is very smart and knows commands like ‘sit’ and ‘shake’. The previous owner stated that he is sweet and loyal. He is gentle and doesn’t have too much energy. He has enough energy to make him fun to be around, but not so much energy that he is a burden.

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Willis, a friendly, affectionate, and playful 6-month-old Boxer / Bulldog mix weighing a short and solid 39 lbs. With a medium energy level, Willis is the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. He has an adorable bully snore and sometimes lets out little snorts, adding to his irresistible charm. Willis loves playing with other dogs, toys, and going for walks. He’s a big fan of cuddling, getting attention, and of course, mealtime! He yodels and chortles with excitement when he wants your attention. Willis is learning good habits quickly and has picked up housetraining as long as he has a regular outing schedule. While he’s not a fan of going into a crate, he settles down well once inside. He walks decently on a leash but would benefit from continued training. He rides well in the car and enjoys watching chickens in his foster home. Willis gets along well with other dogs and even does well with cats. He is adaptable and could thrive in many living situations as long as he gets love, attention, exercise, and food. Whether snuggling on the couch for a lazy day or heading out for a hiking adventure, Willis is ready to be your loyal companion. Apply to adopt him today!  Interested in adopting? Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption.
