Meet Jingle Name: Jingle DOB: April 23, 2025 Current Weight: 45 pounds (medium sized dog) Health: Healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed Jingle is a sweet, soulful young girl with a gentle sparkle in her eyes and a heart full of love waiting to be shared. She has a thoughtful, affectionate nature and a playful curiosity that makes her a joy to be around. Whether she’s quietly observing the world or happily joining in on the fun, Jingle brings warmth, calm, and happiness wherever she goes. Personality Jingle is affectionate, attentive, and deeply people-oriented. She loves being near her humans and thrives on reassurance, praise, and connection. She has a soft, loving side that shows during cuddle time and a playful, energetic side that comes out during walks, games, and exploration. She’s eager to learn, responsive to guidance, and already showing signs of becoming a loyal, devoted companion. This intelligent and athletic mix offers the perfect balance of brains and heart. Smart, alert, and eager to learn Loyal and bonds closely with their family Active and thrives with both physical and mental stimulation Does best with routine, structure, and positive reinforcement Expected to be medium to large in size once fully grown This breed mix is ideal for adopters who enjoy engagement, training, and building a strong human–dog bond. Owner Responsibilities Jingle will need: Daily exercise and enrichment to keep her happy and balanced Continued training with patience and positive reinforcement Consistency, routine, and gentle leadership Plenty of time, love, and inclusion as part of the family She is still growing emotionally and physically and will flourish most with an adopter committed to guiding her through puppyhood and adolescence. ⚠️ Things to Consider Before Adopting Before bringing Jingle home, please thoughtfully consider: Your time and ability to commit to training and companionship Your living situation, including landlord approval and space Long-term plans such as moving, work changes, or travel The financial responsibility of food, vet care, training, and enrichment The reality of adopting a young dog who is still learning and growing Adoption is a lifelong promise — not just for today, but for every stage of her life. Vet Care Although Jingle is healthy, vaccinated, and spayed, adopters should schedule a visit with their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption to establish care and support a smooth transition. The 3-3-3 Rule (Very Important!) First 3 days: Jingle may feel overwhelmed as she adjusts to new sights, sounds, and people — patience and reassurance are essential. First 3 weeks: She’ll begin learning your routine, building confidence, and understanding what it means to belong. First 3 months: Trust deepens, her true personality shines, and she’ll know she is finally home. This adjustment period is normal and requires time, consistency, and love. Why Jingle Will Be an Amazing Addition Jingle is the kind of dog who quietly works her way into your heart and stays there forever. She’s loving, loyal, and eager to grow alongside her person. With guidance, patience, and commitment, she will become a devoted companion — one who offers comfort, joy, and unwavering love every single day. ******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her? Story
Buddy is a bright, energetic puppy with a huge love for life. He wakes up ready for adventure and spends his days exploring, playing, checking things out, and finding ways to be involved in whatever is happening around him. He is incredibly curious and always interested in his surroundings, which makes everyday life with him feel fun, active, and full of personality. He has the kind of happy energy that naturally draws people toward him. Buddy loves interaction and thrives when he gets attention, engagement, and opportunities to explore. He would likely enjoy an active household where he can continue building confidence through walks, playtime, training, and lots of positive experiences. He is still very much a puppy, so he will need guidance and structure as he grows, but he is eager, social, and excited about life. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/ynS3k8Q21f4?si=JK1VK2Z_xopnFyAm Buddy also has a very affectionate side that balances out his playful energy beautifully. Once he’s tired himself out from running around and investigating everything, he enjoys settling in close and relaxing near his people. He likes companionship and seems happiest when he feels connected and included. He has the kind of personality that makes him feel like a true part of the family very quickly. He would do especially well with adopters who are prepared for an active puppy and who want a dog involved in their daily life. Buddy is not a couch potato puppy — he wants to learn, move, play, and experience things alongside his people. At the same time, he is incredibly loving and sweet, and he forms bonds easily with the people caring for him. Buddy is going to make someone an amazing companion. He is goofy, affectionate, curious, fun, and overflowing with the kind of joyful puppy energy that makes raising a dog such a rewarding experience. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69ead1e1bb3a16ee0601727d Questions? Story
Reba is an incredibly sweet and gentle puppy with a soft, loving personality that makes people fall for her very quickly. She has a calmer and more tender way about her while still enjoying all the normal puppy fun like playing, exploring, and spending time with the other dogs. She carries herself with a very affectionate, comforting energy and seems to genuinely enjoy being close to people. She is the kind of puppy who forms strong emotional connections and enjoys quiet affection just as much as playtime. Reba loves being loved on, and once she feels safe and comfortable, she relaxes beautifully into her environment. She has a very warm and gentle presence that would fit wonderfully into a family looking for a loving companion to grow alongside them. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/ynS3k8Q21f4?si=EbesVGjX2Rix3UT1 Even though she has a softer personality, she is still playful and curious. She enjoys exploring at her own pace, playing with the other puppies, and experiencing new things in a thoughtful way. She would likely do very well in a home that provides both gentle guidance and opportunities to continue building her confidence as she grows. Reba would thrive with adopters who appreciate a sweet-natured dog that enjoys closeness and companionship. She has the kind of temperament that makes you want to include her in every part of daily life — relaxing together in the evenings, spending time outside, going on walks, or simply having her nearby throughout the day. She is still very young and will need all the normal puppy training and consistency, but she already shows so many wonderful qualities. Reba is loving, calm, playful, affectionate, and deeply endearing. She is going to make a beautiful lifelong companion for a very lucky family. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69ead18da0fc8b7eb30b0ccb Questions?
